Although i was not here because I chose to be, for a "restaurant experience" itself, but that more or less, it was my car that chose where it was going to decide to overheat, directly outside the parking lot of Giovanni's Bicycle Club. All of the staff are very kind, attentive & helpful. I was greeted immediately upon accidentally pulling into the parking lot by a gentleman of the kitchen staff who happened to be outside the building as i pulled in. He saw that I was having a problem, immediately asked if he could help, when i told him my car was overheating, he offered to take a look for me, although there was not much that could be done, he told me to park in the parking lot, which by the way, it's a very, VERY roomy parking lot, he went inside & asked one of his managers or supervisors is my guess, if it would be alright that I left my car there in their lot until morning when I was able to have it towed out. He came right back out & told me if i was able to get a ride out of there that night, that i could leave the car there overnite until i figured out something to get it out of there in the morning. I called for a ride out of there & walked to the front of the restaurant, at which time i just wanted to confirm with someone for myself inside the restaurant, that it was okay I left the car there & what the situation was i was having with it. And wow, upon walking inside, Both inside & out, this place is beautiful!! I was also immediately greeted by a young lady of the wait staff, who i explained my situation to as well & wanted to confirm it was okay by them & that they were aware of my situation & that my car would be there overnite, she was very kind, very helpful & told me that it was okay & that the manager/supervisor who was there, was also aware of this & was also okay with it. As i said, this was a very unintentional visit & i wasn't there for the restaurant/bar experience, but i will be going back for this...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would! I went there about 2 weeks ago looking for a place to have a little Sweet 16 party for my daughter, outdoors of course. I spoke with Sonny, who I was told by a waitress is the owner. Sonny was very nice at first and showed me an area outside where he said I would be able to have this little party for about 30 people. He even explained I would just need to rent a tent. Sonny explained that he had just had a 50th birthday party in the same space and they rented a tent and also had a dj. I was happy with what Sonny was explaining and it sounded like a nice plan. Sonny proceeded to explain to me that there was a place in Hackensack where I could rent the tent and stated he could let me know if I was interested. He said I should rent a 40 x 20 tent. I told Sonny I would speak with my family and return the following week. Well I did return and one of his waiters took my information down and stated Sonny was not there. I got no phone call. A couple days later I returned to book the party again, but the waiter said to me â oh Sonny hasnât called you?â I said âno no one has gotten back to meâ. This waiter stated â Sonny is not here but he told me that he canât do your party.â I was flabbergasted. I asked him to tell me why? The waiter shrugged his shoulders. I just want to say I will NEVER go back to this place. Besides they are totally overrated! Their food is not the greatest and they are not the friendliest. Sonny is very unprofessional and is not a true businessman. I know so many people and my kids have so many friends. I will make sure everyone knows what kind of...
Read moreFood is good, delivery prices are astronomically overpriced more than 30% itâs absurd.
Dined here recently and had a good awful experience. They didnât put in half the order and the other half they got wrong. When I tried to flag down somebody I was rudely ignored so he could continue having a conversation with a co worker. I kept trying to flag someone down and was astounded to see during a busy lunch rush everyone was playing on their phones rather than assist tables. The table next to us had to clear their own tables when food arrived because nobody ever bothered to come do so for them. Waitress was not remorseful at all that she royally messed up. Not even an apology!!!!
At least apologize for your mistake. She sent the manager who rudely goes âwhatâs the problem hereâ. Excuse me???? Wrong approach, wrong delivery.
Training could improve in customer service as a whole from being attentive to the guest, to how you approach a table to inquire issues theyâve had.
Has been another time where I dined here and asked the waitress probably 4x for a straw before I had to get up and walk to the bar myself to get one. Training needs to be improved.
Been coming here for over 30 years before Giovanni bought it. Never in my life have I encountered such horrendous service and general rudeness at this establishment. Please take the time to train your staff properly. Service trumps quality EVERYTIME. I was coming here every week now Iâll be thinking twice and come here once a month because of service. I donât need to see or have issues every dining experience. Once I see itâs dramatically improved Iâll love to make this my go to...
