Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Englewood

I did a call in order, they had told me at the Englewood store that it would be 30 mins. I waited & then went through the drive thru & they had told me they haven’t started it yet and it would be another 10 minutes. I paid and they told me to pull up and someone would bring it out to us when ready. Waited 20 minutes and called the store because they had locked the restaurant up, and it’s not the first time the doors have been locked when picking up orders from here. Also we couldn’t go back through the drive thru again because they hadn’t opened the window since we had left it . i asked where my two pizzas were. I could see inside that they were just standing around. The lady on the phone had told me they were ready. No one came out. Minutes later, my mom gets out of the car & waits by the locked door. After a while of them looking at her & ignoring her a car comes up next to us and goes up to the building, grant it we were not the only people waiting for our food & standing outside, the lady tapped on the door , a worker opened up the door for her, my mom said she needed to come in. 10 minutes of my mom standing at the counter being ignored , she finally gets noticed, the guy had asked if they made our remakes. No one ever said anything. We saw that they weren’t making any pizzas & there wasnt any pizzas coming out of the ovens. Also when she was in there no food was going out the drive thru window & orders were stacking up. My mother also over heard an employee telling other co workers to not let anyone in. After an hour wait, and countless people trying to pull on the door to go into the restaurant, we had gotten a refund, We drove home with no pizzas in hand. We are no longer going to...

I placed an online order, the delivery time came & passed with no delivery in site. After waiting OVER 2 hrs, it finally arrived. Had Donatos been honest about their lengthy delivery times I wouldn't have entertained an order with them, I would have ordered from a pizza company with more accomidating delivery. Once the order was finally delivered, the entire order arrived cold, not even the slightest bit warm. It was also burned, the bottom was so black my kids wouldn't touch it. A complete waste of time and money and still had to order food from a different establishment that was actually edible. I attempted multiple times to reach an employee at the Englewood store and the phone just rang and rang. ZERO answer. I called the Donatos 1-800 number and the gentleman on the line tried calling the store for me multiple times. ZERO answer for him as well. Next, I submitted an online complaint from their website, after a week ZERO response from it. Then, I tried to reach out to Donatos social media messenger and I received a generic response " the store manager will be in contact 24-48hrs". It's been over a week and again ZERO response. Livid is an understatement. I'm so infuriated over this company and its disgusting lack of customer service or caring to make their screw up right. The least they couldn't done was refund me but they have been completely non responsive. Never again. Not a single red cent will I spend at this company. I'd rather eat a frozen Tombstone pizza from Meijer or chance explosive diarrhea from 10 day old gas station pizza before I ever entertain this pizza...

Not sure if we can rate if we never received the order. Christmas Eve so we called to check when they closed then ordered the food at 5:18pm knowing they close at 8 for the holiday. Around 7 we called and the delivery driver told us he is waiting on the order and apologized for the delay. Told us to call Monday and complain to get our money back. Then at 8:30 we called again, they said they were now closed which I replied that I knew this but we had ordered at 5:18 and never received the delivery. The lady then forwarded my call to I assume a manager who took our name and after a minute or so let me know that it was never made, and that they don’t have hand tossed pizza which is a lie as it’s on the website and has been ordered in the past. Told me the delivery drivers had gone home so I asked if we can come get it and told me they’d have to cancel the order because they hadn’t made it and they were closed. They weren’t closed when we ordered the pizza almost 4 hours before. Understand it is Christmas Eve but that is why we ordered at 5 instead of 7:30. Glad we waited four hours for them to have the order cancelled. Also if they don’t offer hand tossed, let us know when we ask for it when ordering. When told they don’t have hand tossed was a lazy excuse instead of saying they screwed up. Just own up to it. 0 stars this time and may not get again. Will be calling Monday as the delivery driver...
