Jade Garden - Chinese, Sushi, & Bar — Restaurant in Enid

I’ve had their food twice, once there and once takeout for the whole family. Family had their own takeout night before the one at my house. So that’s 11 meals. I and my son are from NY, and extremely fussy about Chinese food having been spoiled all our lives. Son and I stopped for lunch to try it out. I was delighted to find sesame chicken, and pork fried rice. They were above regular Enid grade. The restaurant hadn’t been open long, so I figured it might be due to that. The owner was nice, if distracted, the restaurant itself lovely. Son brought home for his family a week or so later and they raved. Even my son! A few weeks later I got the Chinese food hunger so it was takeout at my house. Vastly improved and now up to NY standards. If you were disappointed before, give it a second chance. This place has a great environment, It's very lively and has a fun vibe. The food was honestly good. My biggest complaint was the service we received. This place used to be called Sakuras and we used to really dislike how our plates would come out at different times. We thought it would definitely be different here. but we experienced the exact same thing. We were with a couple friends and our food came out before theres. No big deal, we thought it would be just a couple minutes, and we dont like to eat until everyone has there food, but it ended up being 15 minutes. We placed a large order for 2 adults and 2 toddlers to try many different things before bringing all of our family here. It was all ok, except for their spider roll. It was heavy on the lettuce and fell apart. We only ate 1 1/2 pieces then asked to have it removed and explained why. The manager argued with us through the waitress that we ‘ate half of it’ and they don’t offer refunds or food taken off the ticket once ordered. We did end up getting it taken off, but not without rude remarks about how they won’t ever do this again.
