The store: I love the vibe here. Speakers for music and the tables are in nice placements. Smooth/chill music played at the perfect volume to keep your conversations a bit more intimate. Kids eat free everyday from 4pm-close? Wow, that's pretty awesome, I didn't even know that.
The food: Everything cooked really nicely. We got the chicken philly with iced tea and a kids speghetti with added meat balls, pancakes, and an oreo milkshake. The kids pasta should have had more tomato sauce for sure, we are talking about kids here lol. That speghetti was served with solid toasted garlic bread. The chicken philly roll had like a butter/garlic spread that was really nice..I think it was just their regular garlic bread spread. The chicken was cooked nicely and had mushrooms, red bell peppers, onions and melted cheese. Again, it was cooked nicely. The philly came with french fries, definitely get seasoned fries because me daughter and I enjoyed those fries a lot. We also really enjoyed that oreo milkshake! The iced tea was nicely brewed. It was like a nice light iced tea with no bitterness.
The staff: Super nice and helpful people. They work quickly, with minimal noise. But, very pleasant to speak with. We ordered and the drinks came seconds after. Seconds after the drinks: salt, pepper, ketchup, napkins, and syrup. All food came out hot and together. My server made sure the food came out well, refilled my drink without me asking, and was just overall really nice and helpful. He had great gestures like: bringing water for my daughter since she ordered a milkshake, he asked me if I would like a lemon in my iced tea, he asked me if I would like a box, and even asked me if I wanted my iced tea for the road. Overall he was just in a attentive, no drama, engaged mood. He was wearing a mask the entire time, but I definitely felt his smile a couple of times, and that kind of experience is nice to experience and genuine. I feel like that's the staff vibe here. They know what needs to be done and they...
Read moreWe were seated quickly, party of two. It was odd that we were put in one of those semi circle boots, but it was fine. Our waiter, who we didn’t know who it was or were we introduced, was talking for over five minutes, very loudly, about being a waiter and The challenges that he’s had in difficulties with management. When he finally came to our table, about 10 minutes after we sat down, he took our order and our drink order, and said it would be right out. We got our drinks pretty quickly. But in the time that we had to wait for our food, we saw one couple and their baby to be seated, get their food, finish eating, and pay, before our weight or even check to see where our food was. The most frustrating part was that a family of six, sitting directly behind us, my son could see that they ordered, and they even received their food before we did. What we ordered were two skillets. It was good. Let me tell you. I just don’t understand why they had to take 50 minutes to cook and give it to us. And I taught my son this lesson, who is a teenager and almost ready to go into the workforce. The issue wasn’t just that the cooks didn’t make the food. The issue was that our waiter only checked on us once to refill my water. And he never checked on our food. By the time he checked on our food, they were busting orders out. But none of them were ours. We arrived at Denny’s at 1:08pm and we did not get our food until 2:01pm. The food was good though. I got a skillet that had bourbon covered chicken breast on top of vegetables. My son got a skillet of chicken on top of vegetables but his was spicy. The food was great, and my son enjoyed his milkshake. But having to wait so long, watching as we got frustrated and trying to practice patients, it just made me upset...

Let me tell you about the most UNREAL, OUT-OF-BODY breakfast experience of my life at Denny's. First of all, shoutout to BROOKE (spelled B-R-O-O-K-E because perfection deserves proper spelling 🥇). Brooke wasn’t just a server—she was a LIFE COACH, a SPIRITUAL GUIDE, and probably an ANGEL sent from the pancake heavens. 😇🥞
I walked in feeling like a crusty, uninspired blob of humanity, but by the time Brooke handed me my Grand Slam, I was reborn. 🍳🍞 THE ENERGY! THE VIBES! 🌈✨ She knew exactly when to refill my coffee like she had some kind of caffeine ESP 🔮☕️, and her smile could probably end wars or cure diseases. 😍
Brooke made my eggs feel sunnier, my bacon crispier, and my soul LIGHTER. 🍳🥓💃 When she brought out my stack of pancakes, she said, “Enjoy!” and I SWEAR fireworks went off in my heart. 🎆🎇 She even made small talk that didn’t feel small—it felt MONUMENTAL. She asked how my day was going, and I ended up questioning all of life’s big decisions (over hash browns, obviously). 🥔💭
If Brooke isn’t employee of the month, I will personally start a petition, rent a billboard, and march on Denny’s HQ. 🪧🔥 She made me feel ALIVE for the first time in AGES. I laughed. I cried.
Denny's, you are the backdrop of my Brooke story, but let's be honest—you’re the opening act, and Brooke is the headliner. BRAVO. 👏👏👏
P.S. If you’re reading this and you don’t ask for Brooke to be your server, you’re doing...
