The reason I gave it four stars is because of the 떡볶이 Korean rice cakes .. no green onion or veggies or eggs and it’s overly sweet. I know a lot of these Korean places like to make their rice cake dish, sweet but traditionally Korean rice cake is not that sweet at all. There’s a saying, we have that says little sweet little salty And this would not be it it’s overly sweet. The Korean Corndog was a block of deep fried cheese without a wiener, I guess you’re supposed to specify that you want the wiener included? My combo box with two proteins, chicken katsu and beef bulgogi with white rice was cold. I didn’t see anything being made fresh on a “grill”. I paid $17 for a bento box that barely had any meat — and when I kindly went back to ask about it, they added just a small bit more. I noticed the staff looked hesitant, possibly because the owner was watching, which made me feel like the issue is with management being overly strict on portions.
