Overall: 4.1/5 (dine in)
Everything was pretty solid. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. There are a few tables available if you want to dine in. If you need water cups, plates, etc. you can ask them for it.
Sinugba Pork Belly ($10.99) + Happy ($4) + Sub Garlic Rice ($2.99): The total came out to be $17.98. The pork belly was good and full of umami. I don't know what cut of pork belly they use, but the fat has more of a chewy texture. The make it happy option includes 6 lumpias & pancit. The lumpias were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and tasty as well! The pancit and garlic rice were standard. There wasn't as much garlic in this garlic rice compared to the longanisa rice plate.
Longanisa ($11.99): This comes with garlic rice and 2 fried eggs. The fried eggs were nice and runny. I recommend pouring the sauce on top of the eggs and rice to elevate the taste. As for the longanisa, these were the best I ever had.
Lechon Belly ($xx): I didn't see this on their in-store menu but it's on their website. This is equivalent to the Chinese roasted suckling pig. The skin was thick and crunchy. The meat was tender but also very fatty. I wished they cut it into smaller pieces because they were thick. The sauce is really good though and pairs nicely with the lechon belly.
Sinugba Chicken ($9.99) + Sub Veggie ($1.99): The chicken was surprisingly good, not dry, and has a similar flavor profile as teriyaki chicken. The veggie was necessary to balance out all...
Read moreCaution! Do not delete my review. I posted it yesterday for potential customers. I will never ever visit this place from yesterday.
Upon ordering two pork belly plates with generously tipping, totaling over $50, we were informed, while waiting for our food, that the restaurant had run out of rice. This was particularly frustrating as our order included a combo with pancit noodles and garlic rice. Despite having paid the full price for the combo, we were told we could only have noodles, with a promise of new rice being ready in 30 minutes. Given that it was peak lunchtime and others were ordering rice dishes after us, the situation felt absurd. Furthermore, all other customers present were Filipino, whereas I am an Asian but not Filipino, leading us to suspect discriminatory behavior. The cashier's constant trips to the back added to our frustration. Such treatment is unacceptable, and I felt compelled to share this experience to caution others. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and steps should be taken to address such...
Read moreMy family and I love this restaurant, and I have always ordered online and picked up with no issue, barely any conversation past the pick up name. The one time I send my boyfriend in to pick it up, they suddenly need all forms of id/payment and the order confirmation. I gave all of that to him while I waited in the car. Since it was taking so long for a simple pick up, I decided to go inside myself. Even after going up myself, the lady was insisting we show her my ID, card and confirmation email bc “they’ve been dealing with a lot of fraud”.. ALL WHILE GIVING A PICK UP ORDER TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER WITH JUST HIS NAME. She already had my ID and confirmation, but I wasn’t about to drive back home for the card that I used. As soon as I told her they’ve never required this level of confirmation for a pickup in all of my previous orders and pointing out that she just let someone else pick up without providing anything, she relented. If this is a new policy, make it known and be consistent with it among...
