McDonald's — Restaurant in Epsom

The food experience was alright, the restaurant was clean.

However, I was disappointed in the play place opening hours policy, which is new from the last time we were here. They say the play place is not open until 10 AM.

We had just had a six hour drive with the kids, it was 9 AM, we had already eaten breakfast and the staff was already on the eating side of the play place cleaning up.

I asked politely if it was okay if the kids would only go in the modules to play a bit before we head on back on the road. It was a Tuesday morning, there was no one sitting in the restaurant except us, my kids were very, very calm, yet the employee just said “The play place opens at 10” without even looking at me.

I tried making my point by explaining our situation, staying very calm, yet he just repeated the same exact phrase, like he really didn’t care at all.

The kids were obviously bummed and sad. We plan our trip on purpose every year for our vacation to stop at this restaurant because it has a play place and kids get to move a bit before the end of the trip.

I think it is fair to say that it wouldn’t have been such a hassle for them to let them play...

This is three times I've gotten to this McDonald's before it was 10:30 and they would not serve me breakfast last time they had actually serve me breakfast but messed my order up and since I came back in to fix it at10:32 they were unable to fix it because it wasn't breakfast anymore. Today I tried to call ahead and ask if they could save me what I wanted a sausage McGriddle for 10:32 because that's what time I was going to be there. This was at 10:25. They told me no order off of the app and have it delivered. I don't know how much I'll get charged to have it delivered nowhere because I wanted to get it at McDonald's. It's not that hard I understand breakfast is over at 10:30 but I tried to call ahead and ask for one McGriddle to please be saved for me I will be there at 10:32 but that wasn't possible. McDonald's continues to disappoint me...

Really nice looking lobby. Awesome playplace and above average quality of food. We stopped here on our way home from concord. I prefer self order kiosks so I was happy to see them. I do wish that there was a sign to remind you to get a cup, it would have saved us and I'm sure many others a little confusion. Surfaces were all clean and not sticky. My 6 and 4 year old children loved the playplace. I ordered a quarter pounder meal and my wife ordered a salad. All food was obviously McDonald's but executed with care and a level of skill not always seen. Overall a good experience for an empty...
