I've visited my share if bakeries. I've had a croissant or two in my life but.. Trust me, you won't find a better one in our area. Everything here is amazing, from the unique breads to the Ox Roast and Horseradish filled Pretzel balls.. And the Pop Tarts, oh my... But, the Jam filled Puff Pastry is life changing. I purchased two recently and went to the beach. They were warmed up, just a bit from the heat of the day. At first there's a bit of a crunch from the flaky pastry. You notice the butter first, melting in your mouth. Their butter is spectacular* The sweetness of the fruit, I sort of got lost in the moment. I quickly wished I would have bought more. If there is a term for such a culinary experience it would be 'Foodgasm'... You know what I'm talking about, it's just SOOO good, you float off to another realm, you get goosebumps. When you finish it, you can't stop thinking about it. You want more... It's almost addicting.. If you're looking for mind blowing, out of this world baked goods. Try Herb & Honey, you will not be disappointed. You will be happy, very,...
Read moreNestled away in the corner of New Central Market is probably one of the best bakeries in the country, a hidden gem every Erie-ite should be proud of. If you want the most flavorful, flakiest, fulfilling treats, look nowhere else. Every single item up for sale, I guarantee you, will be the most delicious thing you've ever had. I spend my time either gorging myself on goodies from here or in cold sweats thinking about the next time I'll get something. I personally love the cruffins, savory croissants, stuffed pretzels, and homemade toaster pastries. And as if the products don't speak for themselves, on top of everything you get the nicest service possible from the owner, who lets her pride in her work shine through in every aspect of her business. If you're from Erie and haven't given this place a try, make some time as soon as you can. If you're visiting Erie, stopping here should be on your list up there with Presque Isle and the...
Read moreIt is a bakery, don't misunderstand it with a coffee shop though they do sell coffee. Since I live close to here. And after wholly 3yrs decorating I want to try things out. The staff is friendly and their bread is great, finally find some not that sweet things in town. However, They will surcharge no matter the amount if you use a card. The coffee is just drip style, even versus Ember forge, I cannot say it worthy your money and $2 for refill. No Wi-Fi, as I said, it is a bakery instead of a coffee shop.
It seems honey and herb is a famous brand already exists a long time in Erie which I know not as a newcomer. But I will sit there one more time as it makes me feel silly. People buy things in and out quickly. But I have to sit a bit as my coffee is top hot. 😂
Will certainly come back for their not...
