I’m a slacker don’t go to west side much , so Erie rib fest gave me a chance to try them without the additional expense of traveling to west side . Being it was outdoor ( pandemic safe) in the street it was definitely wheelchair Accesible . I tried the brisket Philly cheese steak with a spicy barbecue sauce , overall the brisket was entirely onpoint , the spicy barbecue was robust with a little spice ( i eat ghost peppers and reapers ) so to me it had a sweet mild spice warm glow that played off as well as complimented the brisket , the roll was pretty bland and unremarkable , the “Whiz “ was pretty unremarkable ( I didn’t call it cheese , and I didn’t say it wasn’t ) for the taste of both the brisket and sauce ,and a deep love of taste , I would have made an actual memorable unique cheese sauce experience for all the fellow cheese heads , I want to drive business to my establishment anyway I can , an actual fresh unique real cheese sauce would add little to food & labor cost and not negatively effect P & L , but would add depth and complexity to the dish that the average home cook may not be skilled to reproduce , thus bringing them back to reorder & experience the food again . My next order would be brisket and sauce To go so that I could mate there meat and sauce with my bun and cheese for a first rate experience . That’s long for great meat but could really use some equally thrilling accompaniment to take it to the next level .ordered the Pit smasher burger W mashed & gravy ,mashed and gravy was amazing and really...
Read moreCowboy Mike is not just an excellent pitmaster, he's an all around great guy. I had special ordered a smoked ham to pick up on Easter. Not only did he provide an amazing ham on Easter, he stayed late in to the early afternoon and took time to talk, catching up on things and show me around the new location. I brought the ham to Easter dinner at grandma's, where my aunt had brought a Honeybaked Ham. No one knew what ham was which or where either of them came from, until after dinner. Hands down, everyone thought the smoked ham from Outlaw BBQ was their favorite. Honeybaked Ham is not bad by any measure, everyone had a bit of both, and there was no question which was more preferred. Amazing food, dedication and service. The new location is an amazing experience with the Trading Post included. Thanks again...
Read moreIf you love food this is the place to go and try as you won’t be disappointed. I recently went on lunch and was my first time. Since then I have been back several times. Their smoked turkey was amazing fresh and moist with a light Smokey flavor. The brisket was just delightful with perfect hits of smoke and their sauce was just amazing. The ribs were even better, fall off the bone perfect and the prices are much lower than you pay almost anywhere else in town. Lastly that Mac and Cheese, I was surprised when I seen it as was worried but it’s super amazing and one of the best Mac & Cheese dishes I have had! If your looking to feed the family or just treat yourself for a decent price this is the place to go! You won’t be...
