Burger King — Restaurant in Escondido

I love Burger King but the timing this evening was very disappointing.

I understand it's late but why is there no one taking care of the restaurant. I passed through the drive through to grab my father in-law and I some food after a long day of packing. Pretty excited actually and I almost gave up but knew this wasn't right. 11:23 and no answer, drove by the window and waited, and no one. I then proceeded to drive by the front and as I expected I saw employees. So I gave a honk and drove around again.

The person in in front of me this time around had the same issue as I did. They tried to order, no luck so they drove by the front window. Guess what, no help. So they left. I stayed on my course and was persistent to gain someone's attention. It wasn't that long but it was 10 minutes of waiting to place my order.

I hope management reads this as well as corporate. I know if my team behaved in this manner, I would definitely make the necessary changes so that my business does not lose a customer or leave a sour taste in their mouth. Thank you again for the whopper and...

The workers are rude. They tell you to pull up to the front ever time to make you wait for half of what you had ordered. There seems to be a problem when you just check your food to just make sure it's all there. I had the whole staff watching me as I just checked to make sure it's all there and the short girl at the window mumbled something rude as she walked in the back. Another time is when I had ordered a chicken salad also had to wait in front again to get a chicken salad with no chicken went in to tell them they forgot it. The guy in front said we don't sell salad with chicken I asked why while you have on the menu chicken salad after I said that he called the manager. Manager came out asked what happened i explained then he said well chicken will cost extra I said you want me to pay extra for your mistake. Well we went through the drive thru and asked about the tacos that they had been advertising. My husband asked how much they were and she said $1 each. So we ordered 4 and some chicken nuggets. As we were passing the menu my husband saw tacos: 2 for $1.49 We got to the window and she gave us the total. I asked if she was charging us $1 each or 2 for $1.49. She said $1 each. I said, "No, they are 2 for $1.49. She said that it was too late. That she had already rung them up that way and that they couldn't change it. I said, "This is ridiculous. Please go and get your manager." She said ok and left the window. We sat there waiting for 5 minutes until we finally said, "Oh forget it." and left.
