Tasty Pizza Escondido LLC — Restaurant in Escondido

As a consumer of the daily meal I have always enjoyed a pizza once in a while and today 02/04/19 this was one of those days, I had stopped to my local pizza shop which in this case was 'Tasty Pizza' this shop seemed fine from the outside but on the inside it's a whole other story. The manager (that also seems to be the owner) came up to ask us what we wanted which is usual but he didn't ask for the money until he was done. Another lady had walked into the business establishment and ordered a meal order, later she asked me what the order contained and she realized that her meal order was the wrong one so we called the 'gentleman' to tell him the situation. He changed the order and then charged her and told me in a menacing tone "stop helping my costumers they are my duty to help you shouldn't be helping them" I would have respect his order and go along but he said under his voice "god damn it, stupid kid cost me money" (her first order was more priced than the one she eventually ordered). After that he said you can pay too and we did but we had to count the money and as we took our time he got in a stage of anger and said in a almost violent tone "ok you know what go outside to count your money 'cause I cant be focusing on you and the pizza's, I cant do it I need at least 10 employees including my self to do this job but I don't just so I could keep the pizzas cheap!!" This has been a bad experience and I wouldn't come again I have moved on to the neighboring pizza store. Thank you...

I don't really understand why I'm being given dirty looks from the people who work here. All I did was order a pizza... Why are they glaring at me? I came here to write a one-star review because I really disliked the unwarranted mean looks they were giving me. I don't understand it. I wasn't even mean to any of them. All I did was come in to pick up a pizza and they were looking at me like they wanted me dead or something. Why would you treat your customers this way?

Then I actually saw the response from the owner of this place to 1 star reviews left by customers...

Wow... Could the owner of this place be anymore of an unlikable human being? He's obviously a terrible person just judging by the comments and responses he leaves here.

I won't be coming here again. Pretty terrible experience. And the pizza wasn't very good either as it wasn't nearly...

Tasty Pizzas been THAT spot since I was a kid. First time I pulled up, I was like 10, my pops put me on, and I haven’t looked back since. Anytime I’m fiending for pizza, this the only place I even think about. Everything else is mid compared to this IMO.

Eli, the fella running it, is a straight-up legend. You can tell he really puts love into everything. The crust smacks, cheese always hits, and that sauce? Chef’s kiss. It’s been consistently fire for years.

And the people? Real ones. The staff are chill, down-to-earth, and they treat you right so long as you come correct and show respect. Idk how it’s even possible to bring negativity in such a place. It’s good vibes only in here.

Tasty Pizza is more than just a food spot to me, it’s home. A core memory. Big love to Eli for keeping it solid all these years. I’ll always come...
