Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Escondido

Erick as soon as we walked in pushed for us to order to go. He was telling other people they were closing in 9 minutes. I was ordering to go anyhow. As soon as I got my food, I checked it because they were about to close and my large fries were halfway filled. I asked for him to fill them to the right amount and he started saying that that is the way every Carl's fills them. Took only one of my sets of fries and he didn't realize I speak Spanish. He was complaining to the cook about me because I asked for the right amount of fries. His attitude was all kinds of awful and he thought he could start raising his voice. At that point I said he could tip off the fries or refund my money, he said he would but continued his attitude.

I asked for cash because of his attitude and needing to eat somewhere else. He thought he had me but when he made the offer to get his manager on the phone.

Even with his manager, he kept arguing and that allowed his manager to say, give him cash.

Erick, if you are having a bad day, things are not always as bad as they seem, treat people with respect and we will definitely treat you in kind, do better.

Management, remind him how to treat customers, he needs it.

Experience: I love Carl's Jr! I never ate here until they started making the Beyond Famous Star burger (vegetarian), and now I go regularly! This burger is the BEST veterinarian burger I think I've ever had, and you can get it through the drive-through. Service here is always pretty quick, the employees are always nice, and the food always tastes great. My food today was HOT and tasted like they just made it. The difference between this vegetarian burger compared to other vege burgers from other fast food places is that they use BIG, GOOD lettuce in the Beyond Famous Star burger, the buns are thick and taste good, the sauce is better than how other fast food companies make their sauce, and they have tomato and onion (which of course you can take off anything you don't want).

I got off of the freeway and was driving past the Carl’s Jr. and the light it says drive-through open with flashing so I pulled in. Got in line waited for a good five minutes with no response. Then I drove to the window and looked like a manager was walking by all he did was hold up his finger and no and kept going didn’t even have the decency to come to the window. I honked and still nothing. I just wanted to let him know that they’re sign was flashing and it should be turned off if they’re not open so I’m not real happy I just thought somebody should know if the manager is a rude . You should turn off your flashing sign that says that you’re open to open. What’s your name? What’s your name?
