Donut Star — Restaurant in Escondido

Best donut shop ever. Great neighborhood location. I used to have a great love for donuts into a prices got up to 3, 4 and $5 per donut. I pretty much stopped eating them because that's ridiculous. I recently discovered donut star. Donuts are slightly over a dollar and they are large and amazing. The people who work there are very friendly an accommodating. I still have to watch my calories but at least I know I can buy a donut for less than the cost of breakfast. Some of these other shops who begged for our support during covid should be ashamed of themselves because since our supply chains have picked up again their prices have not gone down. Their hours are terrible. They are only open for maybe 6 hours only in the morning. I went before they closed and they were out of almost every donut. Went to get some breakfast, donuts, and drinks from this donut shop this morning and the cashier, which was a Hispanic girl, had the worst customer service ever!!!
