What a Cup Of Joe. A New Experience
So here is my experience for the last 5-6 years my Eldest brother has been speaking about this Safari coffee place. Literally the way he talked about it made it sound like a Mystical Safari more than just a regular Safari Coffee place. Either back then I couldn't drive yet so I could only hear stories of it on top of he prized his Safari Coffee so he would only allow select few people to have some. I was not one of those people. So for the longest time I have been wanting to taste it. I use to not even like coffee until I went to College and got Coffee at 711 or Starbucks.
sometimes AMPM. I thought it was decent coffee also I got Folgers and more. The cheap stuff under 6 dollar because that's what I could afford. Anyways I also had my own coffee machine. Fast forward this last years I got into energy drinks and just got sick of them so I went back to Coffee. An once again my eldest brother told me don't waste your money on those energy drinks he said here have a drink if this coffee. Me being ignorant was like ok whatever. No it wasn't SAFARI coffee where getting to that. I had also just bought a Large Cup Of AMPM coffee and he Grabbed it and just poured it down the sink and said dont drink that it just burnt coffee because it was burned in the water because it was to hot. Well I was like you just threw my cup of coffee away!!.
He told me listen what you where drinking there was Garbage. Take a drink of this and he handed me a cup before I drank It he said this a cup of coffee is supposed to be flavorful have many different tastes left in your mouth all good ones. I though man he's lost it. Then I had that cup of coffee and wow was it delicious it didnt taste like burnt coffee from 711. Or AmPM this was a coffee with flavor with passion and it was delicious. Well ever since then now I buy quality stuff no more cheap 6 dollar thing of coffee and no more coffee machine I got a French press and also drip coffee. Because well it brings out all the true flavor from the coffee. Anyways now to my experience with
Safari coffee BOOM just wow I got a small cup of coffee to test it out. An well I wish I got. A large the coffee smelled amazing and went down smooth and tasted more than amazing I put just a bit of French Vanilla Creamer. An a single packet of sugar and this Coffee was out of this world I got half a lbs of Italian and Colombian I left it full beans since now I have a coffee grinder so I get the full experience. Shoot when I said I was a first time taster/buyer another customer told me they use to go all the way to Seattle just for coffee but not anymore they go here so simply said DO GO HERE FOR...
Read moreI normally don't care to leave bad reviews. I have just given this place 3 tries since moving here last year. 1st time I came alone, ordered 2 different blended drinks for my and my husband. When I got home I didn't know which was which because there was nothing written on the cups. My husband and I both tried them and they tasted exactly the same when I know I ordered the funky monkey and a milkey way. We were like oh well. Second time my husband came with me, and we were not given good customer service at all by the owner. My husband even said it seemed like he was annoyed, not friendly in the slightest. (He acted like that my first experience too but I tend to not be bothered by people's attitudes so I didn't mind it) Last time I went was this past week. I really wanted to shop local so I thought I'd give it 1 last chance. I ordered a small vanilla latte, and the owner says "Are you sure? All drinks are $3 right now!" I say "no it's okay my husband won't finish it anyway, I'll just do a small vanilla latte and a medium coco mocha" well when he charged me out he said $10! Like ok didn't he just say all drinks were $3? I only got 2 drinks...Whatever. I don't like to complain so I left. Tried my drink and it was NOT GOOD, literally tasted like just overly fake coconut syrup and milk. I'm just glad my husband liked his but even he agreed this place is not worth it ever even. Too bad because it's...
Read moreI try to always buy from local coffee shops where I can, but the owner was SO RUDE. I walked in and he was deep in conversation with another customer (looked like a regular or a friend based on their familiarity) and didn’t want to interrupt so I went to browse the beans and teas for sale before ordering. I must have not heard that he’d said “welcome in”, as he addressed me as “what can I get for you Welcome In?” Insinuating I’d ignored him. He was also really pushy and I was reading the menu in the large banner above the counter and he said “you’re going to have to come a little closer to read the menu, it’s up here sweetheart” even though there was literally a giant version of the menu above his head. I ordered some coconut mocha drink, and wasn’t even finished ordering and he interrupted and said “you’re going to have to give me more details, so you want that LARGE or SMALL? ICED or HOT?” In a super condescending tone. The coffee itself was very average, and I don’t even think he added chocolate. It was just coconut syrup and he forgot to add whipped cream. I will never ever be going back to this establishment. But I will say the safari...
