We have been here quite a bit, time to write a review! Everything that I've ordered has tasted great but here's what stands out to me in recent memory..
Chicken Soup: Like others have mentioned, the chicken soup is fantastic. Big pieces of chicken breast with rice, avocado, onions and cilantro in a tasty broth with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Can't beat it! I would ask for extra avocado.
Carne Asada Fries: I just tried the carne asada fries and have to say, I'll definitely be getting these again. The fries were nice thick fries, not the usual shoe string fries you get at other places. The carne asada was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, no fatty pieces in there at all. Up there with the best I've had.
Service: The people behind the counter are always super friendly, have greeted me with a smile every time and are a pleasure to interact with.
Highly recommended, we will no doubt continue to visit Lourdes...
Read moreGood service, nice ladies. Sadly though, the Cali burrito was one of the worst burritos I ever had. It was literally inedible, as I tossed a third of it away. I drove our, not cheap, order back to the hotel just across the street (4 minutes, plus 2 more to my room), and it was ice cold. I'm guessing because there was so much sour cream. I've had many Cali burritos and never had that on it. And I now know why. The thin fries, which should be warm and crispy, were cold, soggy, and oddly gritty. Adding insult to injury, there was very little carne asada. So, so disappointed... Meanwhile, the rice was fair, but the refried beans were tasteless. Bumping the stars from 1 to 2 because my wife reported her grilled chicken tacos were "pretty good." Lastly, the overpriced chips, cheese, and guacamole, which I begrudgingly bought because I couldn't get just a side of chips, were actually warm,...
Read moreBest Carnitas Ever! But the prices are extremely expensive for getting almost nothing, at least during my visit. This place may have beaten the record for me in serving the smallest sized item with the highest price. I was only curious but amazingly the flavor of my carnitas was the best ive ever had. To put it short, if you want to be pleased with some of the best tasting mexican food in town, this place is worth the visit. On the other hand I paid $6.69 for a carnitas and bearily filled my stomach. I was still hungry so It was a waste of time for me. But wow what a flavor. To be fair I give 4 stars. If the pricing wasnt crazy I...
