Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Escondido

I wish u could give 0! I LIVE for pizza nights and have always loved round table but not this one! I hate complaining and the fact that I was willing to not only drive to get the pizza with a baby who hates the car but drive BACK AGAIN to bring the cardboard they called pizza back says a lot! The top of the pizza was literally like peanut brittle. Rock hard and cracked. Idk how u even pizza to do that. I could go on more but hopefully the pics help save u from making an awful choice for ur next meal (also the camera makes this awful pizza look a little better. I've NEVER returned a pizza before! They're always at least somewhat good but tonight this store proved me otherwise.) I wish the videos would post so u could hear the rock hard "pizza" on the counter. I've had ppl give me complete wrong orders and ate it, this was not edible at all and then the manager treated my husband like a joke and tried to act tough. Completely unprofessional and just pathetic. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE. And I hope corporate gets a better staff and manager who has any customer service skills and actually holds the employees accountable....

I only picked up for this first visit, so I didn't get the full in-restaurant experience (which I plan to do in the future).

But basically; the staff was nice, the restaurant seemed clean and appropriately dark (I love the ambience of most Round Table Pizza locations) and parking was easy. The entrance is a little weirdly tight when you first go in, but that's a minor issue.

The Pizza we got (stuffed crust 3-topping large) was good and basically as-expected from a Round Table, although maybe a hair undercooked, but not enough to be a problem (just enough to notice). At least compared to other RTP's I've been to.

Though the garlic parm twists were weirdly underwhelming. Usually these are a really nice soft bread with a good layering of the garlic and parm (almost like pesto on a pesto sandwich), but these had very little of the garlic butter/sauce and parmesan AND was super dry and hard. I ended up only eating two of them and tossing the rest (my wife doesn't like garlic sides but also couldn't eat them because they were so hard).

So I won't be ordering sides from this location anymore. At least not...

Won't be going back! Service was really poor. Ordered 3 pizzas, 1 for the Grandkids. We got 2 served. We waited 20 min., Kid's starving, go to the counter to inquire about the missing pizza and we're told it was made wrong and would be a couple minutes late. We had finished Our pizzas and the Kids still didn't have theirs! Grandpa goes up and was told it would be right out. Another 10 min. pass. The kids pizza finally arrived. An hour After the original order! Dissatisfied, I went to the counter and asked for the Manager. The girl says, just a minute. She had to take care of another unhappy customer who had come in because They'd ordered a pizza for delivery 1 1/2 hour's ago! I had My receipt in hand and told that same girl, I didn't feel I should have to pay for the pizza that took an hour to get. She didn't apologize, just asked what kind and gave Me My refund. She was not the Manager, but did what I'd requested. I don't know what the problem was but They weren't doing well at all for a slow Wednesday dinner. Their was only a single man and his son dining inside besides Us a party of 3 adults...
