Since February, 2012 I haven't planned on going back. My husband took me and our two children to dinner at China Kitchen. The food was fairly good, thought Iv'e had better. Twice, being aware of mine and my children's presence, the waitress asked only my husband if he found everything ok. My children weren't close to being half through their dinner and twice she attempted taking their plates. Both times I was going to tell her no, but both times my children spoke up and said, "Not yet ma'am." The waitress kept looking at me angrily (have no clue why). When I politely asked for more tea she glared at me and ignored my request. A friend I hadn't seen in months happened to be sitting close by and I got up to go talk to her briefly. No less than a couple minutes into our conversation, I glanced back at our table to see if everything was alright. The waitress was trying to flirt with my husband and it was making him uncomfortable. He handed her my glass and said, "Tea, please." My friend saw the whole thing and we both found it awkward. Cutting the conversation short I went back to our table. The waitress brought my tea and the 'tumbler' glass was dirty, because it had lipstick stains on the rim, and I wasn't wearing lipstick. That's when my husband said, "Ugh! This is disappointing! Lets get out of here." We didn't bring our card, we paid with cash. We were expecting our change but a few min passed and she kept tending to other tables. Twice I caught her and one of the other waitresses attempting to flirt with other men. It was on more than one occasion where the waitress went back to table as soon as his wife/girlfriend went to the bathroom. Two minutes passed (during the time we were waiting on our change) and the same woman came out of the bathroom and looked towards their table. When she got to their table she asked the waitress, "What do you need?" Everything just felt wrong there. My husband asked for our change and she said, "No, that was tip." My husband settled the situation telling her, "Poor service doesn't deserve to be tipped. Do I have to speak with the manager?" and she gave us our $10 she tried claiming as her tip. I barely posted this now because I tried to consider that it was probably just a bad night. I wanted to share my entire story because a similar situation recently occurred when one of my friends dined at the China Kitchen. We are polite people, we didn't deserve any conflict. Greatly hope others actually have an enjoyable...

I use a walker when I leave the house due to a genetic issue that messes with my joints, lungs, and heart (among other things). I've had a LOT of issues with places being practically inaccessible and/or passive aggressive when it comes to getting inside and getting seated. I had NONE of those issues here. When you come in, you walk past the buffet and go down a small ramp to the seating area. The lady who sat us saw my walker and immediate seated me and my partner at the table closest to the buffet (and the door) despite the fact it was a 4 top and there were available 2 tops. This made it easier for me to get up and around for food. The small ramp however is probably the highlight of accessibility. While it's a small ramp, it's definitely a ramp. However, when going down it there is a slight uplift at the top. It's just enough to keep my walker from going down on it's own but not enough to give me any issue with going down. In fact, I hadn't even noticed until I felt my walker wheel stop on this little lip passively while I was getting a plate. You wouldn't even notice it otherwise.
The crab rangoon is actually crab (imitation or not, I'm not certain) and the wonton wrappers used are light and crisp. The food is always hot and the honey chicken is to...
Read moreThis is Chinese fast food and easy to cook! Lol! Okay and if you noticed a lot of the employees have their meals at a separate table and cook their selves the good food! I rarely see them eating off the buffet and seen their dishes for themselves! Whoever cleans those bathrooms needs to dust the fans and clean the doorknobs, etc. I've seen the edges of the door and knobs black or brown from other people placing their hands on them! As a former inspector this is unacceptable for a restaurant. You enter touching the door knob. Regardless of washing your hands you still touch it on your way out and touch your fóod! No wonder people get sick! Also gloves are not used and should be in a time of COVID and other infectious diseases! I know a lot of people like the food here, but look at the bathrooms and see if anyone is wearing gloves handling the trays, food, etc. The ECO LAB guys or company that sprays has too many stories of what they see daily in restaurants and Asian kitchens...
