Stop & Eat Drive-In — Restaurant in Espanola

Today my husband and & l came to have lunch , we hadn't eaten here since before the pandemic . Unfortunately we were very disappointed , it was not the same Stop & Eat . My husband's burger was dry small old meat . We asked twice hold tomatoes & it had tomatoes . I had the rolled tacos they were no good no taste the tacos were a yellow color they were not the tacos they used to make Very pricey for what we got , the cheeseburger was $10.25 , for the size & quality was over priced .Service was good the family that owns the place are good people . Really have enjoyed this small Burger stand for many years, which stand the test of time. Food is awesome especially those fries😍.. Bring back those Old fashion deep fried doughnuts, I remember the grandparents loved em.. I enjoyed them when we were younger and so..many others as well! Only critic I have it needs a new look, it's run down quite small and not much place to eat inside, needs tables! What can I say about Stop & Eat other than nothing but good things. Both my mother and my sister worked there 30 years ago. That sounds so crazy! How time flys! Stop & Eat is still a wonderful cozy place to eat with delicious food! You still see the owners Alice & her brother Gerald. They still have one loyal employee who has worked there for 34 years!
