Best pizza I've had in a very long time!!! In the running for best pizza I've EVER had! And I order pizza once or twice a week.
$20.25 for a large 3-topping pizza was an excellent price!!! Especially for pizza this good!
I was first put a little bit off by the small menu/few topping choices, but the pictures people have posted look very good, so I gave it a try.
The crust is the perfect thickness! Halfway between bready and thin & crispy, it's perfect to me! The sauce had good flavor and tasted house made. The cheese they use is amazing! I think it's whole fat cheese of some kind, but it's really rich and tastes great with toasty crispy ends! The toppings did not overbear the pizza and were evenly distributed across!
%%%%% Update: I'm not sure that the crust and sauce are house-made after reading the owner's responses to others' reviews, but I didn't find anything wrong with the quality of the ingredients, and I personally don't like Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. for their low quality ingredients. Just thought I'd add these comments. Back to the original review: %%%%%
Overall, I was very impressed and will be returning every time I'm in town.
I only give 1 star for atmosphere because it looks like you can walk in like a normal restaurant, but the top half of the door opens up and there is only window service and it's hard to talk through the window with loud traffic 75 feet away and no outdoor seating except at the neighboring restaurant. Not sure if they'd be happy with us bringing your pizza to...
Read moreWell, tonight was our first time trying Piazza Parlor and our last. After waiting over an hour, we got a large cheese pizza, hot wings and churro donuts. The wings were not hot (spicy), they were rubbery like some one stuck them in the microwave. On top of that there were 5 wings which were pretty expensive for something so disgusting. The pizza was like a frozen pizza. It reminded us of the pizza we used to get in school in the 80's and 90'. Our last hope was the churro donuts. Nope! The bottoms were burnt. All you could smell is the burn. They were not edible. 3 strikes, were out. Sorry pizza parlor, this is...
Read moreThis place has been around forever since I was a kid. Remember the two original spots they had before getting this establishment next to dandy burger.
Good home made pizza that's amazing and cooked with love. The same lady always smiling and making her dough and adding toppings to her pizza.(sorry don't know your name, but remember you since I was young)
Anyways try their pizza, one of Espanolas...
