Pizza 9 Espanola — Restaurant in Espanola

My dad, myself, and my 2 young sons went here a couple of weeks ago for dinner. I ordered the create your own Calzone with Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, olives, and bellpeppers. My dad ordered a medium vegetarian pizza, and he added hamburger to it. My 2 sons ordered a cheese and pepperoni individual pizzas. The young kid at the counter seemed like he either was new or he didn't know what he was doing really when he was putting our order in the computer. Well, something was going on with him because my calzone came out with no Italian sausage, but ham instead, which I don't like ham in my calzones or on pizza. There were no mushrooms in it, and entirely way too many onions and bell peppers. There was no marinara sauce inside the calzone. It only came with a small solo cup of marinara sauce, to I guess dip this gigantic disgusting calzone in. My dad's pizza came out and didn't have the hamburger meat but had Italian sausage on it instead. Italian sausage is pork, and my it's against my dad's religion to eat pork. I asked the young guy who took our order where the mushrooms were, and he said that they were out of mushrooms. Even though they were out, they still charged me for them. I told him about the Italian sausage missing and the ham that replaced it as well as about the excessive number of onions and bell peppers. I also let him know about the missing hamburger meat and the Italian sausage in its place on my dad's pizza and how. He didn't offer us something else. He didn't let his manager know. He only apologized for the mushrooms but offered us no refund for them since they were out of them. My 2 son's individual cheese and pepperoni pizzas came out good and tasty according to my sons. My sons had a blast playing the arcade games and claw machines. They won a lot of candy and little toys and they were really happy which made me and my dad happy. The manager was also able to give me a roll of quarters ($10) for my $10 bill, which was nice and convenient. Also, a friend and I ordered 2 individual pizzas a few months ago, and my friend got extremely ill and was up all night going to the bathroom and throwing up. If I ever go there again, which probably won't be happening. But it just seems like a lot of disappointment and not so good food. It's definitely not worth what you are paying there. My advice is if you want to take your kids to have fun at a little arcade and want to order something simple like a cheese or pepperoni pizza and don't mind paying the higher prices then by all means go to Pizza 9. But in my opinion, it's just not worth it, and the good yummy pizza and food at Domino's, as well as their low prices and great deals, is a way better choice. Pizza 9 isn't what it used to be. Terrible experience. We have ordered from Pizza 9 for years, and have been delivered to multiple times. Normally, we’ve had a decent experience. This time was awful. When I called to order our pizza and wings, the first words I said were, “this is a delivery...” My order was placed mistakenly as a carry out order. Half an hour later, I called to check on my order and they then told me that it had been ready (even though I never got a call that it was). I told them that it was supposed to be a delivery, so they told me that they would send it out with the driver right away. After another half hour, I called again to check on my order. They told me that it was a carry out order. I told them again that it was for delivery, so they told me again that they would send it out. I called over and over again (every 30min or so), but they just kept telling me that my order was in route. After it had been two hours from being told my order was ready and still not receiving my order, I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and get my money back. I was told that they couldn’t give me a refund and that they would send my order. Being disgusted with a pizza and hot wings sitting for so long, I didn’t want the order. Also, after waiting two hours, I was not going to wait longer with the possibility of repeating the process all over again. The manager then came on the phone and said that they didn’t deliver to my area (even though I have received orders here for years), but that she would go above and beyond by remaking my order and driving it out herself. Pizza is always good, we placed an ordered for delivery, and were told it would be 45 to an hour wait, fine... 1.5 hours later still no pizza, so call back, the girl who answered both times was professional, nice and trying to be very helpful. The manager on the other hand, was so unprofessional, gets on the phone and asks me "are you mad at me?", I told him I just wanted to know what was going on, he has no reason as to why we have not got our order, just that he removed the charge and if we wanted to pick up our pizza we could. At one point he even mentioned how his employees were not at competent as he was, because he had more authorities then them. To which I replied, "actually the young lady I was talking to on the phone was very nice and very helpful!" This happened once before, a while back that manger was professional, and drove the pizza to our house on his own, with no questions asked.
