Subway — Restaurant in Espanola

I went in on Monday, 07/21/2025, after a long day at work just looking to grab something quick to eat. When I walked in, there was a worker sitting at a table with a man. As soon as she saw me, she rolled her eyes and said something to him (I couldn't hear what).

She eventually got behind the sandwich counter, and I even apologized — just in case I had done something to offend her — even though I genuinely hadn’t. Her response? “Whatever, just hurry up and tell me what you want.”

I was completely taken aback, but I went ahead and ordered a footlong turkey sandwich with some toppings. I asked her name, and she said it was "Maria." No clue if that was real or just something she made up on the spot, but either way, the attitude was terrible.

To top it all off, a few hours later I ended up seriously sick with what I can only assume was food poisoning 🤢. Between the disrespect and the health issue? Never again. Absolutely...

A young male working at this location around 3:30 today should be spoken too asap. He appeared extremely frustrated and gave me attitude and disrespect every step of the way. Keep in mind, a sandwich from subway should take all of 30 seconds to make. He seemed incapable of approaching a customer with respect and efficiency when asking what they would like and had no control over his emotional state (he was obviously angery long before I got there). The lady working with him however was incredibly kind, efficient, respectful and very attentive. I couldn't hear what the boy was saying and he seemed to not get that, responding with the exaggerated sighs of a teenager and eventually escalating to rude comments muttered under his breath to raising his voice and acting well, like a moody teen. Honestly, very unprofessional and quite disrespectful. I'm sorry that that wonderful lady has to babysit and work at...

Lawd have mercy these people are rude you walk in no hello nothing! I came in one lady was on phone I stood there for about 3 mins it wasn't until another customer walked in that she yelled for someone to come assist. I ordered 6 subs expecting that subway eats fresh experience 😂😂😂 I was absolutely wrong. The veggies were not fresh whatsoever the tomato soggy iceberg lettuce no good. Cucumbers bad was just left with the spinach which was decent and peppers. The internet was down so of course debit was down I realize that was what the lady was calling about on the phone. Just wish I could of experience the eat fresh experience especially considering subway...
