Family-run restaurant serving comfort breakfast food and solid, simple diner fare with a touch of the Mediterranean.
Food Best crab cakes I've ever had. Only slightly smaller than a softball. Fresh jumbo lump crab meat, in chunks as big as your thumb. No filler. Tender. Juicy. Broiled golden brown. Vibrant, intense crab flavor. Wisely not drowned in salt, parsley, or Old Bay. Simply seasoned, lightly garnished. French fries perfectly cooked; fresh oil at the correct temperature. Crisp, fresh potato flavor. Crunchy outside, fluffy inside, no grease. Perfectly salted. Just the right touch of oil. Cole slaw freshly made. Cabbage and carrot slivers crisp and fresh. Sauce just the right consistency and sweetness. This is good slaw that stands on its own, not THE soupy mush most places serve. Lately, however, the kitchen have taken to running hotter, faster griddle heat. Grilled chicken breasts arrive mostly dry, while overdone scrambled eggs now appear with little moisture and substantially brown. Side salads remain fresh and crisp. Greek dressing made that day. Portions are generous. The kitchen here know the value of fresh ingredients and cook them with love, but need to keep an eye on griddle temps and cooking times.
Atmosphere Bright and airy with an open floor plan. Unfussy. Informal. South-facing plate glass window means plenty light. Could stand to update window blinds to eliminate harsh sunlight spring through summer. Mirrored walls expand the space. Comfortable seating in spacious booths. A handful of TVs tuned to news channels, sound off. Fun music loud enough to listen to, but soft enough conversation carries. All areas easily accessible for customers with physical challenges.
Service Simply wonderful. All experienced servers who cut their chops at other local diners, and who treat their customers like good friends. Servers cover all tables and cooperate closely to serve the house. Warmly see to every need without fawning. Staff laugh and hum while waiting tables, seem genuinely happy at their jobs.
Endy's gives a damn about serving fresh, tasty food made right, and they serve it with great warmth in a light, fun dining room. Among the best dining experiences I've had in a long time.
I will most certainly be back...
Read moreThe Highlights first: Service was fast and friendly. The owner was on the floor with the servers and engaging with customers, taking orders, bringing out food, etc. You could tell she values her customer relationships. I swear I overheard a server ask a customer about how their dog is doing. Very friendly and family-like.
The food was great. I stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. I don't know what more to say about that. Just overall fantastic food.
The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is they really could strengthen their social distancing protocols. The restaurant is operating at 100% capacity unlike the 50% capacity that most places are operating at. Customers are sitting directly next to tables with other customer. I would reccomend closing off every other table or at least putting plexi glass between the two rows of booths to help distance customers.
There are large bowls of syrup and butters on the table already. These could be brought out in smaller quantities for each individual party and then trashed so theres no chance of two customers grabbing at the same things. They could also switch to paper menus unless they sanitize menus between each use.
Over all a great place to visit but if you are more susceptible to COVID or more nervous about it, I would either wait until after they implement some more social distancing protocols, or...
Read moreDon’t Go Here ! First thing is I ordered two turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches one with wheat bread and one with white bread ! The cashier who took my order also without washing her hands and touching the whole damn restaurant toasted the bread and slide my shiit on top of the damn counter to the kitchen where plates and whatever else have been !!!! RED FLAG AND SOOO MANY HEALTH VIOLATIONS !!! Before ordering I asked about the turkey sausage if they were thin or thick she said thick well that’s not a true statement !! Let’s break down this hand held sandwich with all the store germs !! First he made the eggs before the meat was done !! I watched him put the eggs and the cheese on the bread and then just slapped the meat on top when it was done !! Cooking 101 eggs go last and if you want to make a good sandwich put the meat on the egg and add the cheese last so it can all melt together and actually be a GOOD sandwich!!! On the sandwich they give you two fried eggs and three to four strips of bacon hmm why would I want my egg to meat ratio to be off ! It takes away from the sandwich I had to take one off so I could even enjoy my meat !! They don’t add butter or jelly so ya toast will suck unless you can make it to ya desk quick! Overall Definitely A No Return &&& Also They Need A Health Check On...
