I was so excited to go and get the 109.00 ultimate stuffed lobster again for my bday July 15th. I tried calling 9 times today but they never answered the phone. So I'll say it here my lobster was grose no meat slimy and raw I told the waitress I showed her 3 times she's like thats the white stuff from cooking it. No it wasn't hot there wasn't white stuff the lobster inside was tiny flat slime. The stuffing was good so i ate that but I didn't go to eat stuffing. We spent a lot in the gift shop prob 290 and my daughter 100. Daughter and kids meal 200 me and my husband almost 200 we spent a lot we went for my birthday. I've had this before abd it was delicious. Smythe waitress said I would need really silverware but she never brought it or my baked potato. I told her 3 times my lobster wasn't cooked even held up the tiny bit and showed her. Super huge disappointment on a special day. We have been going to rays for ever ..my parents me my kids now my grandkids .I shut up and quit complaining since it was doing me no good and I didn't want to wreck everyone else's good time. It was supose to be delicious and a special time we drove an hour to get there. It was the worst raw lobster ever w no meat I couldent eat it. I'll never spend 109.00 again for that lobster never mind I will never get lobster again from them. Waitress nice but only took order and gave drinks 1 round of drinks and water. We got our own Napkins, forks, take home containers. Such a disappointment raw, slimy, lobster a tintmy amount just grose. Listen to your customers if they say it's not cooked it isn't I was trying to show you the claws three times. The tail was just a flat little slimy thing . I live lobster too and I've ordered this before such a huge waste of money and disappointment. Next bday I won't ask...

The overall atmosphere is a little odd, it was nicely decorated but otherwise practically silent. However the staff were friendly. The atmosphere wasn’t our issue tho cause the food is the biggest part. The price wasn’t horrible for how much we got, but the quality wasn’t amazing. The lobster roll was the winner of everything, I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the world but compared to the rest of the food it was pretty good and for the price not too too bad. The crab cakes tasted like the stuffing to us and were very soft in texture, with little to no flavor of crab. One was fried lightly and the other was way darker in color. We would not recommend the crab cakes. The coleslaw wasn’t bad but it was quite sweet and had lots of liquid, flavor wise wasn’t bad just very sweet. We also got the shrimp roll, which was the biggest disappointment to us, it was fried shrimp in a roll. When we think of a shrimp roll we think of cooked shrimp in mayo with maybe some herbs in the roll. This was fried shrimp like what you’d get in a captains platter with cocktail sauce. The shrimp just didn’t have much seasoning unfortunately. And lastly we got the clam chowder, it wasn’t bad either however it was a bit over salted and that made it hard to eat without stopping for a drink. Overall I would say our experience was very disappointing and we unfortunately would not go again. I think the only time we would is if we really were craving a lobster roll and don’t want to spend lots of money on one.But otherwise we...

Was taken there by my friend Diane for my Birthday. We did takeout because of covid. First we asked if they did curbside as we are both handicapped and we were told we could get it at the window they have for Ice cream. So we gave them the order. They told us it would be ready in 20 mins. Well twenty mins went by and about 10 mins more. Finally I decided to call again and check on the order. Well he said just a min while I check. Then said they ate bringing it to the window now. So we got it and was going to eat there in the truck. We opened it up and everything was cold. It was obvious that they had give them us till we called again to check. And after we got home my friend notice that the slip for the purchase of the food was all most ten bucks more than the prices on their website. So between cold food and much higher price than before when we had the same thing. We will not be going back and not recomemmed this...

I so expected more from a family-owned fish and seafood restaurant in a city like Burlington. The pluses: nice selection of fresh fish and seafood to go. This includes fresh lobsters. A selection of seasonings but most are commonly found. We referenced this as our first visit to the counter but received no orientation info or recommendations from the counter order taker. We settled on fish and onion rings and crab cakes w fries. The onion rings and fish sat in the kitchen window for about 5 minutes. Food was faintly warm. The crab cakes finally appeared. They were warm. The fries were soft and cold. They weren't crowded or busy. Oh, not only must you order at the counter, you'll retrieve your food when your number is called. I don't get it. The pics show food that looks far better than it tasted.

This is hands down the best seafood restaurant in Chittenden County. They have been around forever because they put out a great FRESH product. My friend was craving a lobster roll. I went with the fish N chips. She said the Lobster was fresh and excellent. I could tell because she ate the whole thing. My meal was very good as well. I highly recommend supporting this restaurant.
