Update 3/24/25 Food is still fantastic! Service with 2 older women wasn't the best, the one didn't write down anything we ordered, party of 6 and she had 2 come back twice because she couldn't remember our orders? If she wrote everything down in the first place instead of trying g to go off memory, things would have been smoother. She also messed up our seeprate checks and had to come to us twice to fix it. Another older waitress was rude when I asked for 2 ranch for my pizza, she stated "there's one right there" and pointed to my friends 2 ranches that he had ordered for himself. I stated " those are his, please get me 2 of my own" snd she huffed and puffed away and was rude after she brought the ranch. I get it, we all have things to deal with but it was a simple request. So the service this time wasn't spot on like I stated in my other review. But the food is still gooood! Mediterranean pizza was acidic due to the olives and pepperoncinis, but other than that it was good! Fish and chips were bussin! Highly recommend! Firecracker Shrimp appetizer was very good, should make shrimp tacos with that shrimp! Super good! Ribeye was fantastic! Pricey but worth it! And the burger with 4 different meats is always great! Definitely coming back! Food- the food here was excellent, kind of pricey but it's understandable being a small, very small town! The western burger in the Brie and jalapeno burger or extremely good and highly recommend! Pretzel bun, with a side salad hid different! Also got the artichoke dip with the flatbread, for an appetizer this is extremely good and highly recommend getting this and I will definitely get this the next time I'm there. Service- are waitress was very nice, helpful, attentive and had a smile on her face the entire time! I don't know her name but she was younger with glasses and very nice! It was lunch time, wasn't busy but there were people there and she made sure to check up on us roughly every 5 to 10 minutes Atmosphere- first time being here I didn't know it was a distillery, the place inside is very beautiful, the atmosphere was chill, no loud music and everyone else eating there was not loud at all! The bar and Distillery layout with the restaurant was well put together. They have souvenirs or gifts you can buy right at the front counter I live about two and a half hours from here, definitely will go there again! The place overall was enjoyable, the staff was wonderful, the food was great, not me but my friend got a old-fashioned and he said it was great as well!

Came at 5:00 on a Friday night. Loved the staff, building, food and drink offerings and convivial atmosphere here. It feels like you’ve been air dropped into a hip urban eatery in Monterey or something. Our children insisted this was the new best place to eat in town. My son-in-law said,”Can you believe this?” after we were seated. We ordered the garlic fries (spiral sliced large fries with whole cloves of perfectly roasted garlic, accompanied by pots of fresh Ranch dressing with fresh herbs in it and pots of good ol’ ketchup); Shrimp on Couscous (divine!); Fried Chicken (the asparagus and its sauce were new to me and an instant favorite); Margherita pizza drizzled with pesto (oh mama!) and hamburger on pretzel bun. Flavors and portions were larger than life. A word about the fried chicken: the seasoning had touches of maybe cumin and fennel and struck us as maybe having a touch of curry in it. My husband whose tastebuds craved plain old Southern style fried chicken let the rest of us who appreciate nouveau cuisine eat all his chicken for him. It was beautifully crunchy outside and tender on the inside.

This place is a Gem! Tucked away in the quaint town of Etna California, people take the drive from out of town to experience this restaurant and I can see why! The staff had great energy on the phone and in person. The Denny bar has their own distillery, tasting room, inside and outside seating. I recommend making a reservation to promptly get in if you don’t want to wait. Like I said people are driving here because they know this place is amazing! When they seated us they had a personalized card welcoming us. They had a great selection for drink flights. The only problem was trying to narrow down which flavors I wanted to try so we got two flights! I would say choosing what to eat was just as hard. The waitress kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything and how everything tasted. If you get a chance this is definitely a must to check out.

BLUF - A rare find in an area not normally known for its excellent cuisine.

Service 5/5 - I dined at this location twice and the service was consistently cheerful, knowledgeable, and excellent. I had the pleasure of interacting with Sarah who knew not only the history of the location, but all of the tasting notes and intricacies that went into the production of their bobrun, gin, and vodka. I also was able to see a fantastic bartender, Hannah (the anagram) who was able to quickly, accurately, and consistently produce large drink orders with precision and still have time to engage with customers. On my first visit I was genuinely impressed because the entire staff seemed to be a group of great employees who were well lead, executing at a genuinely high level. I have rarely seen this level of service, so the leadership and management should be proud. As a student and advisor for leadership issues, this was a great example of how to do it right.

Personality 5/5 - The location is in a historic building that was established during the gold rush years of this small town. It really does a great job of respecting the history (the tables are made from some original floorboards) while showcasing the distillery and the tasting room. I have been to several historic locations across the country that leaned too much into history or were too gimmicky, and the food was not that great. This location definitely strikes a great balance between the two.

Quality 4.85/5 - The menu is an interesting collection of offerings that range from what would be considered standards at other excellent restaurants, with a few that reach the level of higher end locations without being pretentious. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and consistent. My consistency rating is derived from conversations with other locals who said the dishes they ordered were their favorite, and it is the same every time they order it. The reason I did not give a perfect score is that on a few dishes some of my group were a little overwhelmed with the garlic. I think this could easily be fixed by offering "A little" or "standard" garlic. I was delighted with the garlic level, clearly I am not a vampire.

Recommendation 5/5 - I believe this is worth a dedicated trip, perhaps not from the other side of the country (but why not it is a unique area), but definitely if you are in a neighboring state (or two) There are plenty of hiking, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor opportunities that could occupy your time in between meals and there are other interesting locations that offer excellent products that would also be worth your attention. ...

Ive heard great things about this place and was told best restaurant in town. Decided to take my mom for her birthday may 14th while i was in town visiting. Immediately upon entering restaurant had 2 employees and possibly manager or owner stare at us and ignore us. My mothers on oxygen and i had my daughter and wife with me who sat down while i stood at the front counter. Waited 5 minutes while employees just ignored us. Soon as another family came in door they looked right at them and tried to help them until i told them ive been here waiting. Immediately after telling them they ask if have reservations which i didn't..mind you my mother called 30 minutes earlier and asked if needed reservations which they told her no.we were also told every table was reserved but i counted 7 tables empty whole time were sitting outside in rain on my mother's birthday with my 6 year old daughter and wife..employees had attitude with us since we were seated and very rude. I asked if could turn on outside heaters for my mother and daughter were cold since they put us out in rain. Heaters didnt help at all or were turned on low or just didnt heat where sitting. We ordered our food and asked each server if we could move inside or had any open which were told no again. i then counted 6 tables and multiple customers finished with meals and leaving inside.45 minutes goes by and were soaked and freezing with tables still inside never used..i go inside and asked them to bag food to go since my daughter and mother are to cold to eat outside.they then said they would bag it and bring us bill outside to pay on the mobile card scanner.one server brings card scanner to table outside next to us takes payment and drops our bill on our table .wait 10 minutes and no one brings scanner. I walk inside and ask to pay bill so we can leave..i asked why we couldnt sit at any tables inside ,cashier then said they could probably put us next to kitchen but its loud and would take 10-15 minutes which i declined since food was already getting cold outside in bag and i asked 3 times if we could move inside since arrived. I feel discriminated against how they acted towards us entire time and snobby. I would never recommend coming here to...
