Went here last night in the early opening hours with my boyfriend, had a really nice time! Vibe is definitely on the down-low but still plenty of personality, interesting arcade layout, and as a pinball nerd I absolutely loved the selection they had, I was very surprised to see the 70th anniversary edition Godzilla pinball machine they had and I was absolutely glued to that thing. Games are also really well priced and you can get a ton of plays out of just $20 on a game card.
In terms of service and food, the bartender was very kind, if I had physical cash at the time I would have tipped them if I could. I was not expecting the food here to be as good as it was for a down-low pub, but it was amazing. I had the chicken tenders and fries, and I have tried a lot of places that offer chicken tenders, and this place ranks among one of my favorites. I'll also have to try their jojos and pizza at some point. I'm sober and very picky so I don't drink much but my boyfriend had some mocktails and he said they were great.
It's very interesting to read past reviews and note that the spot may not be completely queer accepting, I hope that's not the case because this does seem like a really nice place to hang out at. My boyfriend and I did not experience anything that seemed like homophobia, or anything close to "weird looks" but to be fair we do look hella butch and don't act overly flambouyant or anything. Maybe I'll take my brother here next time I come and see what happens, if anything does I'll update this review.
Overall though, from first impressions, great vibe, great games, great food, would absolutely...
Read moreLast night Rortron was spinning & oh my gosh, his mixing is on point & his music selection is unlike any other DJ. The Hot Dog cart was outside selling their famous dogs, the staff inside & out was nice & friendly as always. They played the Blazers game earlier, right before Rortron went on at 10, so there was room on the dance floor, which isn't normally the case. Usually it's packed & that is fine with me! I love feeling the dancing folks intoxicating energy, but it was nice to have room to Boogie all over the floor last night. I added a snippet, hopefully the video loads for y'all. There's just no better happier place than Blairally ♡
Last night was the 80's Club Reunion, with all Vinyl spun by DJ Jon "Supa J" Smith. He is the most talented & kind Gentleman & his Fiancee Melanie is beyond sweet. His 80's music selection is bar none & his genuine energy is an exact match for this Club. Great food, great atmosphere & even greater Music. Rortron, Mandy Mac & Ready Steady Soul Club all spin here, so if you're looking for a place with no hate, no violence & nothing but Love, Blair Alley is where you should be. Oh & don't forget, some video games & Pinball machines are free play.
Friday nights, this is where you should be! So much fun, excellent DJ's playing the 80's & some free pinball & video arcade games!??! What more could...
Read moreIf I could leave less than a one star, I would for the customer service and treatment we received. A couple of my friends and I arrived last night for 80s night. The bouncer checked our IDs and bent all of them in half, leaving my girlfriends with a permanent crease. This is her Montana State-issued driver's license and REAL ID, which is needed for domestic flights. We tried to resolve the issue with the bar staff, and the person we were told was the manager and he laughed in our faces when we asked them to cover the cost of a new one. Excessive damage to a real ID renders it nearly useless at airports. We were first just looking for an apology but were told to blame the state of Montana rather than their bouncer bending it fully in half, closing it in between thumb and pointer finger. We came back asking for compensation, and the manager laughed at us and said it was Montana's fault again, even though it was their fault that her ID now has a permanent crease and would not be accepted at TSA because of the lack of readability. We all feel completely disrespected and will never be back unless management reaches out to try to resolve the issue. Please take your money to Level Up Arcade...
