Slice is just another pizza spot in Eugene. Nothing too special, but it is better than most. They have two locations, this one and downtown. I will say that I've gotten better pizza at this location than downtown. The pizza style is a thin crust, and they offer two sizes. If you're ordering take-out for two, the smaller size doesn't seem like enough, while the larger size seems like too much. They have specialty pizza's that you can order or "build your own". Slices are also available. Ingredients are fresh. However, the consistency of how the food is prepared can vary. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and this location has a stage out back where they sometimes have karaoke. Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
Update 2/7/25 - Well I've updated my review on Slice again. I can report that the pizza has definitely gone down hill, and really not sure if I'm gonna order Pizza to go from this place. I always order a cheese and black olive. Last night we got a large pie. When I got home, the complete center of the pizza was soggy and un cooked! Totally disappointed. I mean the slices there are always good, but when you orde to go it's always shit. So down to two stars, almost considered one but the slices at the restaurant saved it. I hope the owner sees this and has a serious talk with the cooks. But probably not ... I remember seeing the owner in their regularly when they first opened 5 or 6 years ago, but not anymore. Anyways order take out at...
Read moreAfter being asked by various neighbors many times, Slice continues to blast their karaoke until 10 (and often later) twice a week, plus shows on other nights. It’s ridiculously disrespectful to other businesses and people living in the neighborhood. We can hear every word of every song for a minimum 10 hours every week, plus more when they have other shows (which is often multiple other nights per week). Most weeks it’s closer to 20 hours. We can no longer sit on the patio of Meiji/Junglefowl and enjoy a drink anytime that Slice has something going on, because you can’t hear yourself think, let alone talk. When doing schoolwork from home, I have to put on giant noise-cancelling headphones because it’s so loud. I’m not even an old cranky person… I can enjoy a good party and loud music… but c’mon… at this rate all your customers will be deaf in five years. Bad business plan, bad neighbors. Boo. Since Slice has been unresponsive to requests to lower their volume, we will have to take it to the city. I have friends who go to karaoke here (friends who DON’T live in the neighbor, lol) and I don’t want them to lose their karaoke ritual, nor for Slice to lose business… just turn it down for godsake… everyone will still be able to hear it who actually...
Read moreLove Slice! My friend and I come here often for their open mic comedy nights(Mondays at 8p) and for their pizza specials! They have great food options, and their service is great!
Keith usually works the register when we go and he is so nice/funny and really personable! Give that guy a raise! :D He always has a smile and a great attitude!
Their bathrooms are always well taken care of and the outdoor space is cozy. It can get really busy really quick, and indoor seating is a bit limited.
Definitely reccomend the brussel hussle, and fungus amongus pizzas especially if you're looking for vegan/vegetarian options! You can buy single slices or order whole pizzas
10/10 try this place if you haven't yet!(They also have a bar inside too)
Update: Still awesome! Just went to the 100th Open Mic Comedy Night there hosted by Seth! Love the comedians, love the slice staff. Please visit to support the awesome...
