Hey Y'all Southern Eats in Eugene, Oregon is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Southern comfort food. As a Midwest transplant, I had been on a seemingly endless quest for biscuits and gravy that could measure up to my hometown favorites. That search ended the moment I found Hey Y'all.

Their biscuits and gravy are, without exaggeration, the best I've ever had – even surpassing my beloved Midwest staples. The biscuits are perfectly fluffy and buttery, while the gravy is rich, and packed with flavor. It's a dish that instantly transports you to a cozy Southern kitchen.

But the culinary delights don't stop there. The chicken biscuit sandwich is a must-try, featuring their heavenly biscuits paired with crispy, juicy chicken and topped with their house-made pimento cheese. The combination is simply divine, striking the perfect balance of textures and flavors.

What's truly impressive about Hey Y'all is the consistency across their entire menu. Every single item I've tried has been absolutely amazing, showcasing the care and skill that goes into each dish. From classic Southern staples to creative twists on familiar favorites, Hey Y'all never disappoints.

For those of us who've been longing for a taste of the South in the Pacific Northwest, Hey Y'all Southern Eats is a godsend. They've successfully brought the warmth, hospitality, and mouthwatering flavors of Southern comfort food to Eugene, creating a food experience that feels like coming home. Whether you're a Southern expat or simply a food lover looking for something special, Hey Y'all is sure to become your new favorite...

Hey Y’all has crafted a dish that will blow your taste buds away: The Pecan Crusted Chicken French Toast! Imagine a thick slice of fresh challah bread, soaked and richly infused with cinnamon, griddled to golden perfection, forming the base for the ultimate Sunday brunch indulgence. The French toast is fluffy on the inside, with just the right crisp on the outside, soaking up every drop of real maple syrup. What really steals the show is the pecan crusted chicken! It’s juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Each bite combines the nutty crunch of the pecan breading with the succulent, perfectly seasoned chicken, creating a harmony of tastes that’s simply unforgettable. Everything came out piping hot, and you can really taste the care and thought in every component. 🔥✨

Plus, the consistency here is unmatched. It’s not a one-off experience, every visit delivers the same incredible flavors and quality! If you’re on the hunt for a Sunday brunch that’s not only comforting but full of bold, mouthwatering flavors, Hey Y’all is the place. Trust me, you need to...

I have been seeing a lot of good reviews for Hey Ya'lls... especially for their Chicken Fried Steak / Biscuits and Gravy combo. So naturally I had to try it. Lunchtime, after all!

Nice little food truck park up on Barger... easy to find and get to.

Went up to the window and ordered Chicken Fried Steak! Service was ok. Got a remote alarm to let me know when the meal was ready. Ordered a bottled water also.

Remote went off... got my food. It was good! Large piece of chicken fried steak, hot and crispy. Large biscuit (halved), and LOTs of yummy gravy. Little heavy on the pepper for my tastes.. but was very good.

I ate it all! Good portions.... I was adequately full, without over doing it.

All in all, a...

Get there early! They sell out fast! People say I use too much black pepper, this is the PERFECT amount of black pepper! It's got some kick, so be warned. Biscuits are melt-in-your-mouth perfection and the country fried steak is obviously homemade. But the gravy... Omg the gravy! It's a little thinner than I make mine but what it lacks in constitution, it makes up for with flavor! It rivals my Granny's gravy. This place is about to have all my money... Move over Barger Grill, there a new beast on the block! Update: the thinness of the gravy allows you to pour the last bit into your mouth when you've run out of biscuit!
