White Castle — Restaurant in Eureka

We went four hours out of our way to come to this place. First time here for my party of 4. My husband used to stop in all time when he lived in Missouri. Soon as he heard I was going to Missouri, he desperately wanted a 30 pack box of the cheeseburger sliders. He swore that there was one in Rolla, MO but we couldn't find it on Google maps...so here we are! Back in our little hometown we can buy White Castle burgers and cheeseburgers in the grocery store, but he said this was better than the grocery store. Now here it is, late at night, getting dinner before our 10 hour drive back home. My rating is a combined rating from all 4 of us. The place was really clean and we were the only customers inside, so no wait time to order. We paid for our food, filled our drinks and waited for our order. The drinks are Coke products only. While waiting we looked at the pictures on the walls, noticed that they had outdoor seating as well. We also read about the history of White Castle. Even though we skipped lunch on the road...our eyes still must of been bigger than our stomachs because we all ordered way too much food. My son and I had 10 cheeseburger sliders each with fries and chicken rings. My brother and mother couldn't finish their order either. It was all good though to me they tasted like the ones from the store, but not to my husband! We did find out that sliders can really fill you up, I loved the chicken rings and my son ate all of his 10 sliders..he hates onions but loved these, he had no room for his rings or fries. We left stuffed with most of our food in bags. We ate some at the hotel the next morning then we shared the rest of it when we finally arrived back home. Now, I'll have to think about what my husband's going to do for me for going so far out...

Place order at drive thru reading the huge menu I placed my order by repeating what the picture was revealing to me. I told them exactly what I wanted and they repeated it back to me clearly. I get to window and thought it was a little over priced from the advertised price. And I figured I would just wait for receipt. There was additional 3.87 on each combo meal as if I was buying them separately. (I wasn’t by the way) I had 3 combos!! Adds up. But the combo I ordered came with 4 sliders two chicken and two beef. But over charged and the bag was less than full of sliders. We each got two tiny sliders and small thing half full of cold fries and when we asked the lady that apparently was a manager she started to get very rude. By the end of the discussion she made sure to give us two 5.00 gift cards. And explain we were holding up the line there was another vehicle behind us. Which just pulled up by the way. So now we are not important as the guy in the pickup behind us and we were rush along with empty stomach and cold fries and empty pockets. Maybe we pick a different White Castle on next trip. All in all We got 6 slider for the same price we could of got two crave case with 20...

My family had another unfortunate get-together due to death. I had asked if everyone wanted me to pick up some Whities, and of course, I get a "well yeah" reply. They don't sell them in this part of Illinois I'm headed to. Got there at 7:00 AM when they just unlocked the doors and ordered two Crave Crates (200 WC burgers) With only two working today, I felt like this might make them behind for their breakfast hours, boy was I wrong. They were amazing! I never got an unwanted look or an unwanted feeling as they had just opened their doors. I had let the lady know that I previously called two days ago and the night before to let them know of the larger order. She says, "Oh, it's not a problem at all." They were very kind and had smiles on their faces, as well as very sociable, well- accommodating and very knowledgeable of their rolls. So appreciated at 110%. Thank you both very much. I'll always remember we share a bit of sadness on this day in a different way as well with your mom and my cousin. Again...
