Used to go here quite often years ago, food was great, service was quick and it was a well kept place. Recently visited a few times and my how times have changed. Not sure if it’s under new ownership or if it’s just the same owner quit caring about everything.
Service- depending on what time you arrive you can expect to have a wait and that’s typical anywhere. After you get seated and get drinks you can forget about seeing your waitress for awhile. After you finally get your order in, expect to wait at a minimum, regardless of how busy the place is, 45 min. After you get your food don’t plan on seeing your waitress till you get your bill.
Food and drink- fries are almost guaranteed to be cold and under cook, salad is ok, what they are known for and their speciality, the wings, terrible. Over cooked and a lot smaller then they used to be, don’t seem to have near the meat on them as they used to. Soda has tasted funny the last few times and don’t waste your money on ordering a mixed drink.
Cleanliness- plain and simple, this place needs to be gutted and start over from scratch. The walls are dirty, carpet looks like it has been there since the 80s and never cleaned, tables look dirty and the bathroom, I’d rather go outside. I don’t know if I have ever been in a bathroom that dirty, fast food or otherwise. How the owner doesn’t recognize this, I don’t know.
The only redeeming quality of this place anymore is the ranch dressing is still delicious. I for one won’t go back until someone tells me that is has been renovated and the food quality has turned around. It’s a real shame especially since it used to be such a good place. One member of our family is highly sensitive to onions, and it should be simple enough not to place the raw onions in the carry out box…. Not quite sure why that is exceedingly difficult for the staff? What’s worse is we double verify the request when calling in the order, and then triple verify when we pick up the order. We get home and 60%+ of the time the onions are in the box, making that persons order inedible.
It is exceedingly frustrating to come home and have to cook a meal for someone (or spend a half hour round trip picking up a replacement burger) while the other food gets cold.
This time we had another request: we asked if they had a vegetable side option. They said no, but offered to substitute a side salad. We VERIFIED they were offering to do it at no charge, which they confirmed.
Checking the receipt for the onion issue, we noticed they also charged for the salad (and didn’t give a side).
Upon calling them about both issues, they (yet again) “blamed the new girl” for the onions, and for her mistake of offering the salad as a substitution saying they “always charge for a salad”. (?? Then tell your employees not to offer it as a free “substitution”!!)
Straight ordering off the menu? Their food is great!
Have a good allergy or sensitivity? Be ready to eat something else, bring your Epipen, or prepared to be sick!
Have any other run of the mill request? Be ready to be misinformed, have a new employee thrown under the bus, and to be charged to death for something that was...
Read moreFirst time in, don't need to go back. Wanted to try something different after going to six flags, menu looked good and close, good enough. Hostess answered the phone as we walked in. Instead of taking care of the call then seating us, or vise versa, she told us to just sit anywhere. Apparently we picked the 1 table that no one was working. After a couple minutes the waitress that was sitting eating at the front booth brought menus and silverware then walked away. A few minutes later booth behind us was seated, almost immediately the waitress that dropped menus on us took their drink order, followed by taking their food order a few minutes later. About 15 minutes after sitting she just happened to stop at our table and ask if anyone had waited on us. Was able to get her to take our drink and food order. Food came out relatively quick and was ok at best. Ordered chicken tenders with ranch for my daughter no ranch when food came out, asked for the ranch it never did come. The one and only time she returned to check on the table was to drop the bill. I am a person that gratuity reflects service, it was extremely hard for me to tip just 15%.
