Takis Pizza House II — Restaurant in Eustis

I dining at this restaurant with a good friend . The waitress was very unfriendly, very short with us, I had questions to ask about the menu she just walked off, was busy chatting with a employee. The place was totally empty. After we got the menus, a man walked in sat at a booth next to us. She was very friendly with him. I was told she's the owner, by her appearance I would assume she's of Asian descent. We both ordered a Greek salad. Greek salads have lots of feta cheese, onions, Greek olives and pepperoncini peppers. My friend & I ordered. The small Greek salad for around $5.50. Adding 4 oz of feta was about $2.50 more. Roe and I love feta cheese, so we went for extra. The salad came out in a very small bowl ,one Olive, one tiny pepperoncini pepper, and no onion. After griping about only those two items on my salad, the owner said that's all you get with the salad. The cheese was super finely crumbled to almost a power...didn't taste like feta. Upon close inspection, it was fine graded mozzarella mixed in with super fine crumbled feta cheese. Owner of the establishment swore up and down it was feta cheese. Obviously this establishment is cutting corners in a bad way. Personally I will never go back there. It's there that tight on feta cheese can you imagine her thrown away a rotted...

On my first visit, I rated this place 5 stars, but not any more. I have had multiple bad experieces and will not be back. Last night (12/20/17) was the worst and my family and friends will not be ordering or visiting again. We ordered delivery and part of our order was 2 orders of calamari. Where once you would receive a container full, this time we received 1 container with about 10 pieces and the other with about 14. We paid $6.95 per container. I called and was told they now pre-portion and that's their new order size and their price remained the same. He then hung up. Finally got in touch with a manager and was told that because staff wasn't properly portioning previously and with them switching companies, they now receive their calamari prepackaged. While I completely understand that they needed stricter controls, the new calamari is nasty and the portions are way too small for the price. Our tiny portions were overcooked and rubbery, some pieces almost black and inedible. Pictured below is the container we received with about 14 pieces. The manager did offer a partial refund but at this time I've refused and won't go back. It's sad because this used to be our go to place, but with the multiple bad experiences, we are no longer going...

My fiance and I decided to try their food last night. Worse excuse of Italian food ever !!! Normally we order from Stavros but we decided to try Takis because they deliver and we didnt feel like going out to pick up food I ordered the baked spaghetti and meatballs and she ordered the chicken parm & spaghetti. The pasta was dry and seamed as if it were cooked hours in advance, both hardly had any sauce which just made it even worse, the tiny piece of chicken on hers and three tiny meatballs on mine were all dry and rubbery, and the garlic bread was a joke as we couldn't taste garlic and it was basically a half of a hot dog bun doused with butter and not even toasted. After tipping the driver I spent $40 for one of the worst meals I've ever eaten from a restaurant. I will never again waste money on the garbage they call Italian food. I highly recommend making the drive to Stavros to pick up the food yourself the quality is night and day in comparison and the prices run...
