came here to grab a bite to eat after doing some strenuous demo work. got to the window to pay ($52.11 worth of food and drinks) and handed the cashier at the window a $100 bill. He takes it from me, then waits a few seconds and proceeds to tell me that they are no longer taking $50 bills or $100 bills at this location. I told him I am positive he has the change to break it so I don't see what the issue was. I take my bill back and try to use our business debit card - declined. Tried to use Cash App card - also declined (something wrong with their machine I assume)..Anyway, we end up giving him $53 in cash. I tell him thank you despite the aggravations and he slams the window shut in my face with an attitude like I was the problem.
We proceed to go to the 2nd window and get our drinks, they ask us to pull up to spot #1, normal for McDonald's in general, so whatever...we pull up, get the food - it's all hot and fresh! The guy that brought our food out was nice and the girl at the 2nd window was nice, but that one boy, i could have done without interacting with him at all. Since when does Mcdonald's not take $100 bills (just this location at that?!)
McDonald's, you guys better check it because refusing to take a customer's money (as long as it is not counterfeit) is illegal! That is turning down payment - I should have refused to give any other bills and sat there until it was cashed out..but we...
Read moreDining experience sucks. Was yelled at to use the kiosk and it’s fine. Whatever. Waited a good 6-7 minutes for a drink that only takes 50 seconds for the espresso maker to make. Never used a kiosk before, it told me to grab a table tent because I wanted to eat in, and instead of bringing the food like McDonald’s said would happen, I heard the manager say “where that boy at” with the poorest attitude, and she proceeded to yell “latte”. I understand you’re short staffed, we are too. However that’s why I tried ordering at the counter because I wanted to dine in. Upon getting the latte, it was plain. There’s supposed to be six pumps of vanilla syrup and I can’t taste a lick of vanilla. I see this franchise is crashing and burning and there’s a reason the turnover rate is so high. I hate to be that customer but it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, or even write a review period. Hope the problem is fixed though. Don’t tell customers to use the kiosk if you are not prepared to serve off orders the way McDonald’s intended. I’ll use the drive thru from now on. Might as well because half the time lobby is...
Read moreI've not had the best experience with this McDonald's in the past, but a few nights ago, I tried it again after a year or so of avoiding it.
This visit was vastly different than previous visits. I went through the drive thru and had several items in my order. The young man, Colby, did a great job at taking my order, and even though the screen shows your order, he repeated everything back to me to make sure it was correct. Upon paying at the first window, Colby was courteous and pleasant, thanking me for the order, and had a genuine smile the whole time. At the second window, Joyce was also very pleasant and made sure we had everything we ordered and needed. Two great interactions with employees.. something I had not experienced at this location in the past.
The order was correct, nothing was missing. It was all piping hot and put together with care, everything tasted good.
I sincerely hope these employees get some recognition and this location proves to have made positive changes in the future as it displayed a few nights ago. I've changed my previous 1 star to 4 stars due to the experience with...
