Honey Moon Coffee Weinbach — Restaurant in Evansville

We were out for a drive to see some friends and we found this little coffee shop or should I say we stumbled upon it. The shop had a warm feeling to it when we walked in. We received a few smiles and hellos, so we went and found a table for my wife, me and our 3 kiddos. We were soon approached and was told there is one menu at front. So up we went to place a afternoon snack. I decided to go with the HALF MOON it is or was A raw tortilla crisped and then filled with two eggs, bacon, colby jack cheese, and spinach, pressed in a grill and cut into three triangles. I also ordered a large FRONT PORCH TEA.

My wife ordered a cappuccino and for the kiddos a vanilla bean supernova and red,white,blue bubble waffle

Now I can't tell you about my wifes cappuccino because she couldn't set it down. As far as the kids bubble waffle and supernova there wasn't any talking just enjoying the food and drink that was prepared for them.

As for my tea, it was amazing better than any coffee house I've ever been to..even better than that one coffee shop my wife lives on.. oh, what's it called star something I know it but from the tea that I'm drinking whatever the shop name is doesn't matter it's just better. I wish they were closer, but even though I live on the east side of evansville I see me making weekly trips to get my fix.

The tortilla was good to, crispy, tasty, and wverthing was hot fresh and made to order. Can't beat it, will go again.. and the tea.. well wish they had a tea card.. I'll be broke by the end of the month just buying that amazing tea. Just try it. .you won't be...

Love the coffee here, and the bubble waffles with ice cream on top. If it's full, and only one server is there, expect to wait a while for your order if you have/want several things. Depending what it is, can take from 20-50mnts. I usually go when I have time to spare, and I know it's good food so I'm willing to wait. Not a good choice if you're in a hurry. Example, I ordered 2 waffles and 3 beverages, there were around 5 people in line after me placing several coffee orders(8), staff chose to make all beverages first before the food, they made the simple ones first and the specialties second, it took 2 minutes for my tea but 20mnts for the other 2 coffees, adding the wait for the other people's drinks to be done, the two waffle orders were made an hour after receiving our drinks, which were now gone so we had to order more and wait...

Awesome and amazing! Super impressed! Food and beverage were delicious and exceeded expectations! Not that I’m encouraging it but the food is relatively cheap compared to how nice it was. Honey moon could raise prices and people would pay it! Only reason we knocked down a star on service was because an employee that came out to the seating/dining area a couple of times, LOUDLY asked my husband to clarify modifications his order in a quiet room, embarrassing him. Also, we felt we had to knock one star for atmosphere because the seating is quite awkward. There was a table next to the door where the door hits the chair when the door opens.
