I’ve been a loyal customer of this location for years and have always recommended it to others—until now. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won’t be returning.

I called in to order a "take and bake" and specifically requested it thawed, as I’ve done for over five years. The first person I spoke with told me that wasn’t possible, which was surprising. She then passed the call to the manager, who ultimately took my order. While the manager was somewhat curt, I assumed she was just busy and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.

When I arrived to pick up my order, I waited at the counter for over five minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Thankfully, a very kind carry-out employee stepped in to assist, and I appreciated his effort. However, when he spoke to the manager about my order, she responded rudely—loud enough for both me and my son to hear. Her tone and words were completely unprofessional, and the way she addressed me at the counter was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Even my son, who is usually very understanding and gracious with people, was shocked by her behavior. It left a lasting negative impression on both of us.

As much as I love the strombolis, no food is worth being treated that way. I truly hope the management addresses how customers are being treated, because this experience was incredibly...

I remember eating Pizza King as a kid, as I was born and raised in Evansville. I recently had a birthday and wanted to order pizza to bring back the nostalgia of birthday parties I had when I was younger. I called to place a delivery and when the person on the other line answered, she asked if I’d rather do delivery or carry out.I responded “delivery” and I could barely get out the word when she cut me off and asked “are you sure? Delivery is an hour..” and reassured her that I was interested in delivery. She then continued to verify “if she could even deliver to my address”. When taking my order I heard her laughing while trying to take it. I was very polite and concise which was confusing as to what was funny. She ended up asking my address about four times. Once the driver arrived, he called because he was given the wrong address to deliver to, and said that this was the second time tonight he was given the wrong address. He even seemed really bummed that he couldn’t get my pizza to me sooner. All and all, I’m willing to give Pizza King a second chance but customer service is just as important as the the quality of the food. EDIT—To the owner of this place. You have already been told numerous times all the issues you have at this place. Everything from punk teens working who have no idea what pizza king used to be from ZERO CHEESE being put on ANYTHING! Its a joke. This place is horrible. Its sad what you have done to this pizza king.

DO NOT order from this place. Disgusting. You think you miss the OLD pizza King, think again because this is NOT the pizza king it was before. $38 dollars for a pizza and it wS NOTHING but a HUNK OF SAUSAGE. Disgusting. This was suppose to be pepperoni and sausage pizza with EXTRA CHEESE. There is NOTHING but sausage on this and its not even done! Its raw all in the center. Never again. I will be calling corporate and if i do not get my money back i will dispute with my bank. Stay far far away from this unless you want a pizza that...
