Let me start at the beginning, I ordered wayback burger from DoorDash and was told it would be about 15-30 minutes, which is completely fine. After 40 minutes go by, I get a call saying that they have sent my order out 2 separate times and they want to know if I have received anything. I told them I haven’t and that I was only informed it was running late. After continuing to talk to this lady, it seems like she is accusing me of lying. At the end of the phone call, I was the one apologizing, even though I had done nothing in the wrong. After telling her I just want my food that I ordered, she says okay they will send it out. 20 minutes later I get my food. My doordash driver told me there was extra in there for the inconvenience. I thanked him and told him to have a nice day. Once I sit down to eat my food. I pull out the “smothered” fries I got, and they had 2 pieces of bacon, ripped in half, and half covered with cheese, the cheese not being melted, at all. I decide to look past this and just microwave them on my own. Once I open up my burger, it has onions on it, which I requested none of, and am not able to eat. I finally get to the extra fry they threw in for me for the inconvenience, and it was cold. I wish I had taken pictures before throwing it all out. Read moreI don't normally like to give a low rating after one interaction, but the service we received at this location tonight was bad enough to warrant it. We were not greeted or even spoken to at any point in the interaction. While he was ringing us up, the worker (who, again, did not speak to us the entire time, not even a "hello") was literally staring at his phone on the counter and scrolling through Discord. ?!?! If you can't put your phone in your pocket for 30 seconds to take an order, maybe you shouldn't be working at a restaurant. The guy behind us in line was politer and said more to us than the actual workers who were being paid to serve customers. Disappointed because we enjoy Wayback's food and atmosphere. Read moreI've always loved your burgers, delicious. Today was a disappointment. I usually go to the one on the other side of town, but decided to stop at this one on my way home. I literally stood at the counter waiting for the young girl to at least aknowledge me, nothing. She was messing around in an iPad. 3:44 was how long I stood there, yes I timed it. I work in the service industry and your customer is the number one concern. Not even a "hold on"from her. One customer received his food before his milkshake. When he let her know this her answer was a rude uh-huh. Two other customers received the wrong orders. All in a span of five minutes. It may not seem like a big deal, but these incidents add up.
