Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Evansville

I'm not too happy with today's visit. Our waitress was wonderful so none of this is a reflection on her. My boyfriend ordered and was excited to do the Wall of Flame challenge. Once the food was ordered and he already started the challenge, our waitress informed us her manager said they didn't have any t-shirts and we would just get the challenge food for free. Which I'm pretty sure is part of it anyways. My boyfriend finished the challenged victoriously and asked if he was getting his picture taken. He was so proud of himself. Then our waitress said the manager told her they don't even do the challenge anymore so they don't have a camera. It was all over the menus and our table was literally next to the wall. We asked if they could order shirts. She said Matt her manager just started getting hateful to her and not giving her answers. She seemed really upset and said this was her first time she had a guest ask to do the challenge and she hoped he would have helped her. Since we couldn't get an answer about ordering the shirts and the manager refused to come talk to us we asked to have the shirt off the wall. After our lovely waitress went back and forth to him they finally took the shirt off the wall for us. The manager helped but wouldn't even look at us or acknowledge we existed. It wasn't the right size and it had holes all over it from being hung but my boyfriend was happy to have his trophy. Our waitress took pictures on her personal phone and promised to hang a picture of him but I hope she doesn't get mistreated for going out of her way to try to scrounge up a little bit of excitement for us. As young parents we don't get to get out alone together and it was a fun time that turned very sour. From the way the rest of the team sounded this was pretty on brand for Matt's behavior. They shouldnt have to work under that attitude. Idk if we will be back the food was good but that was...

I have been to the restaurant 3 times. The first, I ordered wings to take home and they were undercooked. Didn’t say anything. I deal with bad customers daily so I didn’t want to be one. The second time, I called ahead for a sandwich with fries and chicken tenders for my daughter. I show up 20 min later at the bar as instructed. Nobody greets or acknowledges me. I wait 10 minutes until I get impatient and say something. I then wait close to 20 more minutes for my food. Then when I get home, literally a 20 second walk, I come to find my daughters tenders are undercooked. Insane. Then the third, which was tonight. I hadn’t been there in months. I stopped by on my way home because wings sounded good. Decided I would get them to go and drink a beer while I waited. Show up and see they aren’t busy which is awesome. So I sit at the bar with a total of 3 other gentlemen and wait for the bartender to acknowledge me and head my way. I wait 10 minutes before she does. I told her that I wanted to get some wings and a drink to which she says ok and then walks away for 10 min. Didn’t tell her my order. She didn’t ask. And then she disappeared. I’m just confused by this place and how some people have good experiences there when all I have ever run into there is unwilling and unfriendly workers. Food is great. Service ranges from so-so to fantastic. They have had fantastic servers and then we have had the rudest little girls working the front counter that I've ever experienced at any other fast food restaurant LOL We had decided we were never going to go back after the last rude employee we experienced(we actually walked out!)but their tenderloin sandwiches are so good, we gave it another try and it didn't disappoint! I ALSO did happen to leave my wallet in the restaurant this last time. When I called the next day they told me that they didn't have it. After driving to the restaurant and talking to the general manager, we were able to track my wallet down from another employee who had put it in a safe spot the night before. It was only due to the lack of communication that they thought my wallet wasn't there. The manager called us right away to let us know that they found it and when I got there all of my money and my cards were still inside! This is a great little place to have some good food and watch some sports on their many televisions. Our servers have always been fantastic and honestly I think it's due to the age and the immaturity of some of the young kids working that can put a bad taste in your mouth. Sometimes kids just don't know any better and hopefully they will learn with experience. I would definitely recommend giving this...
