Yooo Chops is insane. I wasn't really looking to get a burrito but I looked at pictures posted inside and knew it would be a mistake if I didn't. Basically, get a burrito you won't regret it, other items don't really matter honestly. There's a reason there's such a variety of burritos, they make them really well here. Price wise, these range around $12 and are extremely large and filling. I wouldn't typically see a $12 burrito and suggest it, but these things are the exception. These things are worth it. I could probably make two meals out of a burrito if I wanted.
Upon entering, there's a self order kiosk on the left. If you're reading this and are on Yelp before, just use this and order a burrito. Honestly just close your eyes and pick one, you can't go wrong. If you're still unsure, you can opt to walk to the cash register and ask questions too. Our cashier was very friendly and welcoming, we asked her for suggestions and her first suggestion was the Bulgogi Burrito. She seemed like a student too so probably aware of the immense value a burrito has. Regardless, she definitely knows what she's talking about and again every single burrito is amazing.
I had the Kraken Burrito with fried cod, french fries, and imitation crab meat. I'm not sure there was calamari but that is advertised. Couldn't quite taste it. Regardless, I was very pleased and the burrito wasn't any less full. They probably ran out of calamari and put more of the other ingredients in so no complaints.
I appreciate that jalapenos and limes are provided on the side for you to personalize your taste. One comment is that the burritos tend to be on the saucier end and there's an option to have less sauce which I'd recommend. The sauce doesn't take away from the taste or flavor, it's just messier as the sauce leaks and drips from the wrap which is why I recommend the less sauce option as the taste remains the same but is cleaner. You also get to just enjoy the ingredients.
We went to a park to eat and a passerby asked where we got our food. That shows how appealing these things look, especially in person.
Tl;dr come and order...
Read moreFive stars for being EPIC! My kid who is attending college 900 miles away sent me a video clip of this place she'd gotten from a friend and I was there to try it the very next day. This is the best new thing I've found in a long time and it checks all the boxes. Price? $8.50 for an enormous burrito stuffed with Bulgogi. The standard version with beef, chicken, pork, etc is known as the "Bulgoritto" There is also an extra spicy pork version known as the Wild Boar that also features Asian Slaw and jalapenos. I've been there twice this week and my favorite is the Wild Boar with beef substituted for the pork. I just love the sauce and I prefer the cole slaw to the salad that goes into the standard Bulgoritto. Their BiBimBap is outstanding as well. The services and presentation are great. The place is clean and inviting. I don't love the picnic tables but they have a cool finish that makes them look awesome. The location is in a weird strip mall near the Boeing Everett plant. I don't think you would just stumble upon this if you didn't work for Boeing or live nearby. It's absolutely worth going out of your way for though. There are some other cool restaurants in the mall as well. It's honestly more like the food courts at Microsoft than any strip mall I've ever seen. I've tried the Thai place in here before and it was also very good. I'm going to come back and work my way around the complex. You should be there...
Read moreIm back!!!! Sorry guys ive been mia for a bit been busy with work and haven't had much going out time i know especially now that indoor dining is back. Well I'm Everett today and stopped by this korean burrito spot that was suggested to me by a friend and wanted to try it out, first impression walking in was amazing and really liked how clean the placed looked and organize. Loved the wooden benches, since this was my first time here i had to go with the bugogi burrito, i know may sound so basic but u cant go wrong with bulgogi. Now i came in thinking these burritos will be like the Chipotle ones and sort of are. Humongous 😂, but at least they cut these in half as seen in my photos which helps with the mess you get eating a Chipotle one. The tortilla held the ingredients very well no saugyness( dont even know if that's spelled correctly) . Overall place was delicious, beef taste good and the yum yum sauce combination with the greens just made the perfect combo to melt in your mouth. I was filled with half of the burrito but did not want the other half to get cold because saving it for later wouldn't taste the same so now im bloated. Great spot and fair priced. Will try something else whenever i come back up north which...
