Erwin's Philly Cheese Steak — Restaurant in Everett

My family and I really liked this place before the owner left. It had extremely good food before the owner left for vacation at least 6mo. ago! Since it's been taken over the quality has gone down alot and the prices have sky rocketed! The sandwiches have less meat, noticeably less, NO flavor at all and the garlic fries severly lack garlic even when ordered with double garlic its less than when the owner was running the show! We used to eat here 1x sometimes 2x a week now it's 1x every other month if that as it's just not what it used to be but the prices keep increasing which I don't understand when your using half the amount of ingredients you used to! I unfortunately won't be returning here for my family or myself as we spend between 65-80 dollars on sandwiches and fries and I just can't make that make sense so they are a thing of the past now. We may try them 1 more time if the owner ever decides he wants to run his business again, maybe but until then it's a hard pass. Also them not being open on Sundays is utterly bazaar to me, how much business are you losing?!! Sunday is our take out night but their closed?! Bad for business for sure, if it where related to religious reasons I would understand, but it's not, it's just poor business practices. I am dasher for Doordash and everytime I get an order for Erwin's, I know alot of nasty, rude and extremely inappropriate comments are about to happen. So I had a double order for Erwins on my dasher app but when I went to the store and showed him my phone as I didn't know how to pronounce one of the names, he told me I was to respect his store and he wouldn't give me the orders. I asked him how it was disrespectful and he told me that it was since I didn't say anything I was being disrespectful. I informed him I didn't know how to say the name so I showed him so I didn't mess up the name. He said I'm not giving you the orders, you can leave. Every single time a dasher goes into this store, he does this. It is rare to actually get a customers order from him. He is rude and extremely aggressive towards delivery workers. I have spoken to quite a few dasher who have the same problem. Then he reports us and we get a violation on our accounts. This man needs to be stopped. Update- I can't order here anymore. No one reads the notes. I order the same thing EVERY TIME. I ordered today, i put in capital letters. Do not put American cheese, please use provolone.....and again, I got AMERICAN. This is the final time. Sad bc I really like the owner. When I call no one speaks English. And I can't get my order taken back because it was delivered. Lasr time I got onion instead of mushrooms and they added DOUBLE american cheese. I don't even know who eats a steak and cheese with American. It's so gross...im super bummed.

This is my favorite weekend order. I recommend adding cheese to the fries not a lot just a little bit, and I highly recommend provolone cheese instead of American.
