If you're like me, you may initially be iffy about the fact that they offer a wide variety of cuisines, but let me assure you that they have narrowed in on very specific dishes from each one and honed them to a razor's edge.
This place makes better general gao chicken and sweet & sour chicken than most Chinese spots I've been to —straight up puts them to shame. Each piece is lathered in that sweet savory sauce while maintaining maximum crispness. Extremely satisfying texture and taste, ready to bless your senses. Their lo mein is as legit as possible without being house made noodles, and pairs perfectly with those two peak chicken dishes.
Their mada burger also goes super hard as one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful meat, stacked with the freshest veggies, melted cheese, and their deliciously unique signature sauce. Halal smash burgers hit different, and Hallelujah for that! The fries are super addicting too —spiced, savory, and a hint of sweetness.
The guys who run this spot are very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to this delicious gem among food trucks!
EDIT I just had their Nashville chicken sandwich, and legit, it was THE best chicken sando I've ever had thus far. The outside was insanely crispy and packed with that goodgood seasoning; the inside was tender and juicy white meat (which makes it even more impressive); and the slaw, toppings, and sauce combination pulled it all together masterfully. This, my friends, is a master class in the art of the beloved chicken sando. It had me singing praises to The Most High with each bite.
Also, I can't stress enough how friendly the guys that run this food truck are. I ordered ahead of time online and couldn't find an option to order a side of mada sauce, so I got a side of ketchup and mayo instead. When I pulled up, homie told me he packed me mada sauce instead as if he read my mind. Perfection. I'm...
Read moreGreeted by a Hijabi sister in a food truck. Excellent spot for burgers and more. I tried both the Mada Burger and Cheeseburger and they were super flavorful, juicy, and you can really tell they care about the quality of ingredients. Everything is HALAL and not overly greasy, which makes a big difference. The flavors are bold but clean.
We also had the General Gao chicken. Loved the sauce, really tasty. Personally, I would have preferred thigh fillet over breast since small breast pieces can get a tad dry, but I get that they’re going for a healthier angle, which I actually appreciate.
The fries were solid too. Could have used a touch more salt, but the spice mix they use on it is superb and makes up for it. You can tell they put thought into even the little things.
The birria and consume was a nice surprise, something that’s been missing in the HALAL food scene around Boston. Still not quite at the level of what we have had in NYC, but definitely moving in the right direction. Props to them for bringing it to the menu.
Will definitely come back to try more from the...
Read moreI live nearby and I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. I finally decided to give it a shot last week on a rainy day, and I was blown away! Their menu has everything from Mexican to Asian to American, so there’s something for everyone.
I went with the Mada burger, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was a great complement. I also got the seasoned fries, which were also really good.
Today, I wanted my wife to try it, even though she’s a bit of a picky eater. I ordered the loaded chicken and the Mada burger for her to try. She absolutely loved it! The burger was just like the last time, and the loaded chicken was really tasty. It was crispy, not dry, and well-seasoned.
Mada definitely hit the spot if you’re looking for a quick and tasty bite after a long day. It’s affordable, well-seasoned food that’s comforting and satisfying. I highly recommend...
