Update: I just spoke with the store; no manager. Manager will not be in until Wednesday. The tempura vegetables are soaked and soggy. Just disgusting. I can’t eat them. I wanted a partial refund, but no one cares. Here is what will happen as a result. I will no longer frequent this establishment, and my review gets changed to a single star. I honestly wish I could make this a zero star review. This is a serious lack of customer service and support. I will vote with my wallet. There are other sushi restaurants.
Re: your response. Nope. I do not understand you. You just blatantly blamed me for your bad service. This is called gaslighting. No, we did not “check together” I opened, rearranged and closed the package. I had no idea the soy sauce was all over the food. Had you actually done your job, this would be a mot point. The “ manager” I spoke with was a kitchen manager, and has nothing to do with wait staff or customer service support. You have lost a customer. My whole family will no longer be frequenting your establishment. You have my phone number, and my card info. You have the ability to reach out to me (if you are truly interested in this), and make this right.
Re: Such a disappointing experience today. I ordered $30 worth of food, only to have it spill on the floor in the plastic bag. The young gentleman who is at the counter, who is attempting to help me, handed me the plastic bag too soon… I was still dealing with my money in my purse. I went to set it down next to me, and because they have an advertisement in front of the cash register, there is a little piece of cardboard that sticks up And makes this surface uneven. Rather than landing neatly on the surface and being fine my meals spilled. I got home to soy sauce all over everything! I got tempura vegetables… They are soaked and no longer crunchy. My sushi looks like somebody threw up! It’s really that bad; it still taste fine, but it’s all over the place. Rather than offering to make this right, he just picked it back up, put it together and handed it to me a second time! I don’t think he has any concept of what he did. Here’s a clue… When your customers hands are busy; when they are paying for their meal and looking at a cash register, it is not the proper time to hand them their food. People only have two hands, and if an accident occurs rather than saying “it’s all right it will still taste good“, offer to make it right. I love this restaurant, I am on a restricted diet, and I don’t get to eat here very often… I was really looking forward to this food. Not only that, but I gave you a three dollar tip; you didn’t deserve it. I would like it back. You need some coaching and Customer Service. Or perhaps you just need to use your eyes and discover a more appropriate time to help people their food. If you make a mistake… Which are bound to happen, because we are human, do your best...
Read moreThe Miso soup that came with my meal was fantastic and the green tea I ordered was spot-on. The gyoza was really well-made also, although the dip with it was kind of lacking in flavor. The entire meal was relatively cheap compared to most sit down restaurants, which was nice. The interior was nice and the wait staff was friendly as well. I was also pleasantly surprised that they provided chopsticks without me having to ask.
As for the negative aspects, the sushi menu has two parts, standard a la carte sushi and premium sushi. The premium sushi has the ingredients listed under it but the a la carte sushi does not. The sushi is named using common nomenclature so I ordered something I have always liked. However this role did not come the standard way I was accustomed and included ingredients I personally do not care for at all. it happened to be an order my friend shared and he did not mind having more so we did not have to waste the sushi, but I felt bad. Not only that, but despite dictating we would like separate checks, and being two separate people, they put two different orders of the same sushi on the same plate. When we mentioned this, they did not offer any reasonable alternatives (like providing an extra plate) but instead seemed like they did not know what to do. My beef yakisoba, despite having big juicy pieces of steak, tasted otherwise bland as well.
All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I think I'd be better suited to spending my...
Read moreHaven't been in here for a while since we moved out of town but came back and really enjoyed that I could go out for some Japanese food. This is really spectacular
Service was absolutely stellar. I had lots and lots of questions and I think all of the weight staff stopped by to answer my questions for me and I ended up getting the pokeball and I am really delighted with it. They explained to me they've got several different kind of sesame bowls and I like the pokey bowl. It has a really nice sauce to it and there were just tons of food in here just and very delightfully presented. I did ask for the lettuce instead of rice and they said it would be an upcharge of $2 which I didn't want to go for. But that would have been a nice addition if they would have been that the atmosphere was a lively there all lots of tables were full. There's a sports bar football game on right now. Music playing in the background. The chefs are busy at the sushi bar. The tea is really great. I definitely know this is one of the places I like to go to. So sorry my husband doesn't want to eat Japanese anymore. This is a real treat We live up in Mount Baker now and it's 100 mi trip to get down to Everett but I was down here today and thankful to come out of my way a little bit to be able...
