Tata's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Everett

I have tried a few of their tacos and a torta and the food was good. My girlfriend really likes the chicken taco salad. They have daily specials where things might be cheaper than normal. Not a fan of their taco tuesday where the Asada tacos are normal price so I won't be going there anymore for any taco tuesday special.

I understand that everything goes up in price and they are no way making much profit selling tacos to me but I would say the biggest disappointment is that unless you get the food during a special, I don't feel i am getting a good value. Where I notice is when I physically take the bag of food from them and there really no heft or weight to the bag. Whereas if I get my normal indian food it weight several pounds. They also charge like $5 plus for rice and beans.

Honestly, we went to this place because my grand children call me Tata and we thought it would be fun. We were blown away with the atmosphere, the service and yeah, even the food. Our waitress had a beautiful smile that never seemed to leave her face. I had the special which was 3 enchiladas with rice and beans and we also ordered a variety of tacos which reminded me of the food from when I lived in San Felipe Mexico. Went to TaTa's at 1245 10/25/24. I saw they had high reviews. I ordered the 5 taco plate, 3 dado and 2 seasoned sweet pork and chips and salsa. The two meats were extremely dry and zero seasoning. Other than the pork having a red tint, the taste of the beef and pork was the same. The sauces green, red, and salsa where the same, no heat or taste profile. Overall food was at a good temp.
