Ard Farkle's Grub and Grog — Restaurant in Exeter

The food was good. Have been up there twice now. Once for breakfast, which was just ok, and once for dinner, which was good. But this place is so ridiculously expensive in our eyes that we just can't justify coming here.. We get that they just opened and maybe tying to recoup some of the cost of opening but it was SO expensive. With there being no golf course, the view of the dirt is just kind of plain, and adds to the lack of atmosphere which I feel deducts from the value of visiting here, but that's just me. I'm sure when the course opens, it will make this...

Absolutely fantastic food and experience. The appetizer was fresh and high quality, steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, vegetables were beautifully roasted, potato sides incredible, great beers on tap and even the dessert was delightful.

We were visiting from out of town and trying to find quality, hearty meals in a sit down restaurant (more than burgers and fried food) and were so happy to discover this gem.

Some good local grub from @threeriversgolfcourse - Burgers are way better than any of the other places I’ve tasted up here and are cooked to order. Drinks keep flowing and the staff make you feel like home. They make me miss my old golf course bar I use to hang out regularly during lunch or dinner on a weekly basis.
