Well I had a bagel W/ cream cheese, locally grown cherry tomatoes, dressed with olive oil that is burnt or some method of roasting it. I've NEVER EVER heard of before, HOWEVER, the flavor is absolutely amazing. All food is made from the kitchen. Even got to meet 3Rivers very own sheriff and TC's FINEST, who came in for some awesome tacos and to stock up on coffee for the rest of his shift. The coffee I ordered was good not the best I've ever had. They do roast their own beans on site. If your a diabetic BYOS (sweetener) they only had liquid sugar in a bottle to sweeten with, the owner kept it on lockdown in his hand. Lol. No sugar packets, no sugar in the raw, and I don't remember seeing and honey either. I found the lack of sugar a REALLY STRANGE ISSUE, and I said something about it to that affect. He kept showing the sugar cane liquid sugar to me (BTW, NOT karo syrup... J/S). Other then that the shop is a peaceful easy feeling to it. Very chill vibe. And the best part come in and get your picture taken with Bean the miniature pug. They have started a wall of fame for Bean. They were showcasing copper tree sculptors and dragonfly mobiles for local artist, Matt Arnett, from Exeter, CA OVERALL: BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL AND worthy of another trip. 4 out of 5 stars due to the strange sugar issue... (I wish i had taken some pics but I forget to do that...
Read moreI never leave reviews, but my experience was so negative I really feel the need to. From the very start, I had a feeling I should’ve just went to Sequoia coffee roasters instead, but unfortunately I stuck it out. To get straight to the point, I waited over 20 minutes for a single iced latte…the group before me were also waiting so long they finally got up to ask where their order was. There were only two people working but the pace at which they were working was INCREDIBLY slow. Their customer service was also very poor. No greeting when I came in, bare minimum for taking my order, and then after I got so discouraged with the wait time I asked about my order, only then was my drink started! It had already been 15+ minutes. I get being short staffed, but at least make it look like you’re trying to be efficient! Or better yet, give a wait estimate, literally any sort of communication is better than none. I felt invisible. If the customer service had been better, I would not have minded nearly as much but it was overall such a negative experience I wish I would’ve just gotten a refund. It was not even busy! The coffee was pretty average as well. Waste of $7 and I cannot believe I tipped. Don’t make the same mistake I did and give Sequoia coffee roasters a...
Read moreTerrible service. Do go unless you don't mind waiting 30+ mins for an egg sandwich. There were more children working at this place than adults. And by children I do mean kids under the age of 15 who appeared to be the the owners children working behind the counter. The two parents were lackadazically working at their own pace popping in and out every once in a while. I can't provide a review of the food because we never actually received our food. After waiting for 35 mins and seeing the family of 5 still waiting for theirs before us, I finally asked for a refund after at least one promise of it beimg ready in 5mins. Mind you, this place is more of a take away coffee place, not a sit down cafe with wait staff, so waiting that long for a breakfast burrito and egg sandwich seemed excessive to me. This place needs to hire some real adult employees rather than depend on their two oldest children (15 and 12 yrs) of the 5 of them. I would have tolerated the wait if the attitude wasn't so lazy. The owner had one slow gear and she didn't seem inclined to be concerned in the least that she had a cafe of about 15 people half of which were waiting an excessive amt of time...
