Burger Express — Restaurant in Exeter

Omg this place is amazing! We moved to town a few months back and have been here over 20 times. Even my 19 year old is addicted. My fav is the Texas burger which they made the option for 1 or 2 patties. My daughter gets a veggie burger with onion rings instead of meat. Their fries, okra and ranch are out of this world.

Now customer service. The owner is beyond beyond nice, works out and I can tell he treats the employees well. And the employees are just so sweet and kind. I wish all young employees everywhere acted the way these young workers do.

So basically if I could give a rating of 20 stars I would.

I had the chicken strips with fries. They didn't have much flavor. My fiance said his burger was ok. He had a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon, did not look like bacon, more like pastrami. He said the burger was nothing special. The rootbeer float was good, hard to go wrong there. We really wanted to like this place, seems to always have people, so maybe we'll try it again some time and give it a second chance. Went here on a summer evening. Parking was easy to find. Place was a little busy.

I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad. The quantity was definitely up there and could feed 2 people. Quality of the vegetables were okay. The grilled chicken was decent. They do give ranch on the side to eat it with.

Overall, it's a typical local burger joint. I didn't try the burger, but based on what my friend got it looked like something you could get at any local joint. It's good if you're a local, but not worth the drive...
