Dream wedding, dream hair and make-up, and a dream space for a bride to get dolled up for her special day - not to mention a special hairstylist who is an artist, photographer, and wedding extraordinaire! I am so grateful and thankful to have had Jacquetta be part of my special day. I sent her a few ideas of what I thought I wanted for hair, I gave her the freedom to do her thing. I love how thoughtful and considerate she was during the whole process. From the beginning, she told me what her intentions were for my hair and makeup to be true to me, and my style, and that she wanted me the bride to feel comfortable on my big day. I normally do not wear heavy make-up, so she wanted to honour that about me, her goal was to have my make-up polished and not overly glam. My makeup was on point, looked amazing, and it looked natural. I love that my hair was moveable, she was able to incorporate my Nanna's broach clip into my partial updo. I loved my hair on my wedding day, I felt like me but styled just right for our vintage-themed wedding. The Hive is always so lively, and inviting, and lighting is bright and cheery, and the vibe is always just right- inspiring and empowering. I cannot recommend Paul Morgan enough! My daughter has never had someone cut her thick, kinky curl hair so well. I have taken her to multiple places that do their best but I’d never tried anyone that specialized in curly hair because I had no clue where to look. A friend recommended Paul, stating he has a ‘curly cut’ that she thought would benefit us both. He cut my daughter’s hair and added natural highlights and it is gorgeous! Fits her personality so well and it is exactly what she wanted. Ive never seen her so excited about her hair before. The salon is bright and the staff is refreshingly positive and upbeat. Jacquetta is very professional and knowledgeable! She continues to attend up to date styling classes, and she also teaches them! She is Always willing to answer any questions and give tips on how to style my hair at home! She has been my stylist for 11+ years and I have followed her from two salons in Visalia to her very own salon here in Exeter. I have gotten compliments on the cut and style for all those years.
