I've lived in this little town for 60 years now, and "The Mercantile" has been here the entire time. So, while other franchise hardware stores have come and gone, (Ace Hardware, was the latest one to come and go.) The Mercantile just keeps chuggin' along. Exeter Mercantile is very well rounded supply store. I always find what I need (or it's found for me). The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If they are unable to facilitate your exact need they have no qualms with referring you to someone or place that can help. Great local facility in the heart of Exeter.
