Thanksgiving day..completely ruined.. If I could give it minus 5 stars I would.
First a fab drink at the bar..bartenders were what is to be expected at a upscale place.
We waited 20 minutes for menues..20 minutes for our wine..no ice bucket..warm wine..
Order came out as follows Appitizer... salad..ordered soup did not get..our msin course came out to be sent back as they forgot the soup..
Soup came..cold and given to seat 1 and reached over with towel floating in my husband's soup while the young boy reached in front of him to place my soup in front of me.
No spoons..then when asked they where tossed at us in an upside down position..really.
Asked question about my salad ..never got an answer...
Never crumbled our table.. Each dish never asked how is it...can I get you anything.. We grabbed a candle for our table.. As well we had to get our own salt and pepper from the service station..
Even the manager in the front office said we can get better service at mc donalds...
Really!
Coffee with no milk..we had to ask..never came..til we got up to leave.. Turkey dinner was average..we wanted more gravey no response..
Asked if we wanted more bread..never arrived..butter did come..what's the point with no bread...really
Our waiter who was claimed to be a lawyer and best server..was pathetic..and claimed he was the manager which the manager said her was not! A lie!
Hmmmto much to list!
I told manager I wanted to speak to Richard while I worked for in the past. She said she makes all the decisions...lol
The server who claimed to be the manager. Asked us to leave..lol A lawyer who waits tables and claims he's the manager...it to funny....lies to feel big! Another joke!
Go to Formagerie...far better service great food respectfully servers. Top notch.
Where is Richard???? He would never allow his staff act like a circus!
We were not looking for a comped meal! We dine all the time I was a server for Richard ..David Burke ..Joe Amiel... All off the best...
What happened to serving from left to right..filling water glasses..hey..how is your meal.
Waiting to hear back from Richard the owner..
About the arrogant servers..
A customer for 20 plus years. Holidays. Brays. Communion etc..a entire family place to go!
Beware!
Very disappointed thank you for recking our...
Read moreLast night my husband and I ate at Raven and the Peach for the first time. Walking in, we loved the decor and piano player singing his Billy Joel medley. The bartender Jeff was so pleasant and friendly , recommending cocktails and letting us know he makes the worlds best cosmos ( which could be true ). We were seated at a booth and absolutely loved how cozy and romantic it felt ( date night for us married parents of 2 ) our waiter Oscar was very nice but not at all a fine dining waiter. He was more of the Applebee’s type reading specials from a paper and truly not knowing much about the menu. We had the Cauliflower soup which was outstanding along with the pork belly special for appetizers. For dinner my husband had the pork de’jour and I had the ribeye, both dishes were perfect. If I could say one thing it was about the service. Items we asked for taking over 10 minutes to come ( like lemon for water or spoons for our soup. Did I mention our bread was brought to the table while we were eating dessert never offered to us the 2 1/2 hours prior ). I feel like at an establishment that is built around a fine dining experience they should have a fine dining wait staff. We wanted to be wowed and the service was less than mediocre. Not you though Jeff, you were...
Read moreWe had the filet mignon with bearnaise butter and a New York strip. Everything was practically perfect from the frizzled onions and house-made steak sauce to the pureed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. The filet was over cooked for medium but that didn't stop us from eating every last bite. Even the presentation was beautiful, adding to the whole experience. The staff was very helpful and pleasant as well. A few minor negatives. We heard the waiter telling the other table that the menu was just a couple of weeks old which as a new comer to the restaurant was a bit disturbing because our menus were quiet disgusting. Also the table itself and the placemat were dirty. For the cost of the food you'd expect these things to be perfect. The restaurant was empty what with the summer crowd gone and back to school stuff so conversation from the woman at the only other table was difficult to drown out. Music came on just as we were finished which helped a little. This is no reflection on the...
