Mayan Palace — Restaurant in Fairbanks

So me and my mom went to eat there I ordered two enchiladas with beans and rice my mom got 3 tacos. So my mom got tinfoil in her food and I told the waitress and she left it on the table I ate about one of my enchiladas and my beans and rice i’m opening up the second enchilada, and there is bugs in my food the waitress comes back, says sorry leaves the plate on the table five minutes later, she comes and grabs it then about two minutes later the owner comes out and he’s drunk and he says where’s the bug there’s not not even a plate here and I said the waiter took it and then he asked the waiter seen a bug and she shaking her head and the owner says It’s not a Bug. Then I say well I have a picture and he says that’s not a bug it’s seasoning then he says we are lying, and we planted the bug in our food then he says it’s not even our plates and it’s Chinese food dude Chinese food is not enchiladas and then he says it’s not his he takes me back in the kitchen PLEASE DO NOT EAT THE CHIPS the chips are in a big box on the floor and it looks like spilled dr pepper all over the floor the he takes me to the chef the chef did not say anything I walked out on my own we are starting to walk out then the lady at the bar said HEY THEY DID NOT PAY just to remind you they took our food so we are on our way out and another drunk guy at the the bar says why is your mommy paying for your food he says go get a job and a drivers license calling the health department next beware, do not eat here. We decided to eat here tonight. Our waitress was completely ridiculous. She wouldn't speak in a tone that was audible against the back ground noise. She was impatient with our child as she was trying to order for herself. We didn't know the entire drink order upon being seated so she decided that half our party only needed water. She was short in temperament when approached about our drink order, which she then left on the bar for over 5 minutes, walking past multiple times. I tried to order my regular order, which is 3 enchiladas, with shredded beef. I was informed this is not possible as they only come with ground beef. We informed her we wouldn't be dining here, and she decided to stop waiting on us. Waited excessively to bring what we managed to order and our check. This was only my second time going to Mayan Place, and it was obvious why it's not a place I go back to every time. Service was okay but nothing spectacular. The free chips and salsa was not bad at all, and we really liked the smoky flavor of one of the salsas. I ordered the fish tacos which was supposed to be made with cod, but it was made with tilapia! I could tell because I've had both many times and each has a distinct flavor. There is no mistaking the pungent taste of tilapia (not in a good way IMO).
