Anyone who leaves a positive review for this place either lacks an understanding of Mexican cuisine or is leaving a fake review. The food here is nothing short of dog food. The ingredients are the lowest processed sourced ingredients available. The preparations are not indicative of traditional or even modern Mexican dishes. I ordered an enchilada that was brought to me without the cheese even melted, the bean burrito was cold and clearly came from a can. The two items were swimming in some unidentifiable sauce that mimicked the likes of purina wet dog food. The beef tacos were adorned with cold toppings that were frozen and had chards of ice on them and the beef was lukewarm with the texture of potted meat. Despite all this the bill reflected the purchase of artisanal cuisine made of quality which is not what we received. We informed the manager that this wasn’t acceptable and was fraudulent however she was indifferent and apathetic. This establishment is preposterous, representing themselves an establishment privy to Mexican cuisine when it is anything but that, serving dishes that are lesser quality to that of prison food. Aside from that the service was wonderful. The young ladies working there do care about the service they offer. Don’t spend your money here. Don’t support a business that misrepresents it’s self, disrespects the Mexican American culture by masquerading. Don’t support a business that only cares to profit from the people without giving back to...
Read moreNorth Pole Taco Azteca WORST service I've had in a restaurant! When we got there, it took a good 5 minutes just to be seated and it wasn't even packed. We also felt like we were being rushed to order our food. After getting our food, I picked up my fork and it was dirty! I then asked for another fork, and they brought ANOTHER dirty fork out to me. I waited while my food was getting cold till someone came to ask how everything was going, another good 5 minutes. After we were done, another 5 minutes went by and still no ticket for our order, but then they brought out a flan. They did not ask me what kind of desert I wanted on the house. (I absolutely HATE Flans.) After another 5 minutes, we finally get our ticket to pay. If I'm paying $40 for my food, I EXPECT it to look a little decent instead of just thrown on my plate. We had mentioned the dirty fork situation to the manager and all he had to say was he was sorry. Excuse me, but if you wanted to keep me coming back, you would have discounted my meal or at least ASKED if there was anything you could do to make my service better, I will NOT be...
Read moreI was confused because two restaurants share the space - one is a basic fast-food looking space, and the other is like a nicer restaurant with a bar. I tried to ask the person at the counter where we should go, but she apparently did not understand my question (no reply). We went to the basic space. We ordered a taco salad and tostada from the board by the kitchen, and the person taking our order didn't seem to understand our questions (blank stare/no reply), so we weren't able to specify certain ingredients. We were given glasses to help ourselves to water. No table service was provided, so I found some forks and asked for some napkins after the server had brought our food. (I was unclear on what I was to have done to get table service). The taco salad chicken was hard, dry, and tasteless. The hot salsa was good. The tostada was good, with shredded chicken, guacamole, sour cream, and okay tortilla bowl. Seemed overpriced for the type of restaurant, lack of service, and...
