Batter and Crumb — Restaurant in Fairbanks

I walked past this place so many times and didn’t realize because it’s a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, like a food truck, but without an engine. I would highly recommend it though. It’s a husband and wife duo and the food is amazing. Pretty much baked to order and always fresh and hot. I got a sausage roll and a cinnamon Pull apart which was straight out of the oven. They only serve hot drinks or bottled water and soda, so not tons of options there. They also don’t have any seating since they’re a small shack in the middle of a parking lot, so it will be a little bit weird if you don’t have a car to eat in. We traveled on a Holland America cruise and started our trip in Fairbanks, AK. Batter and Crumb was awesome on the morning of our Gold Dredge day! They were up and at 'em early (7 am) creating delicious treats for breakfast!

I loved my chocolate chip scone and my blueberry muffin. My one son got the blueberry muffin with some 'heaven' topping and the other got the cinnamon knots. Both really enjoyed them!

Today was our 'sweet day's. They also have savory options that we'll try tomorrow.

Batter and Crumb went above and beyond to create a special 40th Birthday Cake for us while travelling to Alaska. The whole staff team were wonderful to work with and made the most delicious, custom cake for us with our choice of flavour and messaging. They even surprised us with very thoughtful design touches to make this extra special! We loved our cake and are so grateful for the delicious treat.
