We have given this Chipotle chance after chance to fix things but it's gone on too long. At first, we thought it might be pandemic troubles causing long waits for pickup orders (30+ minutes after time), but this has been happening for many months now. Every single time we order for delivery or pick up, it takes SO much longer than the "promised time." It doesn't matter if it's a peak dinner time or 2pm on a weekday.
Today, for example, there were over 20 people in the Chipotle waiting for pickup orders with only 1 employee making orders. It's insane. Come to find out they weren't even receiving all the online orders so the poor employee had to hand write every order down on the back of receipts to prepare them. We did not receive our order until an hour past the "promised" time. If they can't staff enough employees to operate, they shouldn't even be open.
We feel awful for the employees who are there as they obviously are put into a very stressful situation with not enough resources to effectively do their jobs. It's not fair to them and I'm sure they aren't paid well. We have had similar experiences at the Paxton Ave location although not quite as bad there. Hubs and I get the work costumes off and sit to eat. For me it was the 4th bite. Chewy chicken. Undercooked. My son spent the night between his bed and the bathroom. My Saturday same. My guy eats gas station food sooo he was fine. I called the next day and Explained to the manager what it was and I didnāt get a receipt but I used Apple Pay and could show proof of purchase.
